1. Staff Structure

1. Administrators. The highest rank. The admin team make the final decision on all Animeleague matters, which includes being able to hire and fire staff or make any change they see fit. There are six types of admins -
a. Head Administrator - Takes all the final decisions, and is effectively the forum leader.
b. Deputy Administrator - Second in command, and deputises for the head when he or she is absent. Also picks up the slack if another admin vanishes.
c. Groups Administrator - Is in charge of all the groups and clans on the forums. Ensures clans help out all the sections on AL.
d. Community Administrator - Responsible for promoting and maintaining a vibrant forum community in terms of events, activities, atmosphere and in general.
e. Security Administrator - Handles bannings and warnings, and deals with any security threats to staff and the members. Makes final decisions on who gets banned.
f. Relations Administrator - Handles publicity and public relations, both externally and internally. Ensures communication between various bodies.
2. Head-Moderators (hmods). Each is in charge of a specific forum on AL. They operate as a head of their forum's team of moderators, and usually make the final decision with regards to how that forum should be run, it's structure and whose on it's mod-team. Only the admin team may over-rule a hmod, but this is very rarely done. Hmods can enforce the general AL rules across the entire boards, and have mod access in all areas, but are not allowed to enforce section-specific rules outside their own area.
3. Moderators. Mods are usually given their orders by hmods, and work to ensure that AL's rules and their section's additional rules are enforced. Mods can lock, delete, move, and edit topics/posts in their forum, as can any other member of staff.
4. Assistants. Normal members but with extra responsibilities. Anyone who is not on probation may apply to be an assistant. We shall also ask that you have at least 100 posts, and have been here for a minimum period of one month before you are able to apply. They are designed to be able to help Animeleague that little bit more than you would otherwise as a normal member and to help act as a bridge between staff and members.

2. Notes about Staff

- All staff members have the ability to temporarily ban users. However, they may only do this for trolls, and the forum keeps logs of all staff actions to monitor for power-abuse.
- All staff members have access to Staff Discussion where the running of Animeleague it regularly discussed.
- All staff Appointments are judged on the following criteria -

a. Motivation - How much do they want to help out AL?
b. Ability - How capable would they be in the role?
c. Time Available - Would they have the time to do their job and would it be consistant?
d. Attitude - Do they have the right attitude to make a professional staff member?

3. Animeleague's Senior Staff

Username: FreeSaiyan Roles: Head Administrator, Alcon Chairman, Hmod of Conventions, Meetups & Cosplay Profile: The Animeleague owner - way too overworked and bombarded by forum drama on a daily basis. We speculate that FreeSaiyan is not really a human-being but is in actuality a robot that operates on a deadly combination of lager, vodka, tea and coke with a muddy "Made in Britain" badge on the side. The robot tries to avoid the deadly temptations of partying, girls and anime to little success.

Username: Rita Roles: Deputy Administrator, Groups Administrator, Hmod of ClanNation Profile: Rita it to receive her BA in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing in approximately May of 2009. She likes horses, reading, writing, roleplaying, and cows. Her favorite food is the wonderful concoction called the Enchilada, and she's a Coca Cola addict. She's been in love a couple of times, including once or twice here recently. She loves D&D and other table top games such as the White Wolf Game Mage: The Ascension. <3

Username: Arya Roles: Community Administrator, Hmod of Community Central, Hmod of Entertainment Zone Profile: Arya loves to take life to the extreme and thrives on chasing adrenaline! She is an avid rock climber, and Muay Thai student, that is... when she's not out storm chasing in the heart of tornado alley, where she grew up. She also shares a passion for the performing arts and spends any free time she has on stage as much as possible. When we asked what her favorite thing was, she simply replied “keeping a smile on the faces of the ones I hold dear, laughter can cure anything....except maybe my cooking.”

Username: Matt Nada Role: Security Administrator, Hmod of Roleplayers Realm, Hmod of General Discussion Profile: The most mysterious person on AL. Very little is actually known about the identity of the Security Administrator. While he's sported a few usernames over the years, most of us have stuck him with “Matt Nada”, although it can't be presumed that either name is actually his given one. His age is unknown and there are virtually no pictures to have ever surfaced of Matt. He did occasionally make a call-in guest appearance on AL's popular radio show Kenshirotica, so we do know that somewhere in the world this person does indeed exist.

Username: Cevelt Role: Hmod of Welcomes & Goodbyes Profile: Amanda is 18 years old and she lives in Indiana. She will be attending the International Business College in the fall of this year to pursue a degree in Graphic Design. She absolutely loves animals, playing video games, and of course anime and manga! Amanda is a huge Fruits Basket freak and will go on and on and on and on about it if you let her!

Username: Enchantress Role: Hmod of AL Journals Profile: Enchantress is a student of Marketing and Business Administration as well as a graduate of Human Resources. Her occupation is currently the Marketing Manager of the X-Seven Artist Studio. She enjoys meeting new people and making Anime League a better place for all members to enjoy. She has a knack for resolving conflict on any scale and you can count on her when you need a shoulder to cry or lean on. Most of us who know her consider her a most reliable friend.

Username: DarkNeko Role: Hmod of ClanNation Profile: DarkNeko is really a Lisa, but a lot of people just call her Neko! She's a pretty friendly person, and always tries to be optimistic. She's one of those rare people that will do anything for her friends. She is currently a University student but has a passion for writing and is working on her first novel (one of three). When she's not at Uni, she spends a lot of time on AL, as well as reading, writing, drawing and RPing. You can also catcher her on the drums, which is the newest hobby that she's recently took up for the fun of it.

Username: Selene Role: Hmod of CityScape Profile: Selene is currently a college student who is known on the boards by a few names: Panda, Pandora, Selene, or Michelle, any of which are fine to call her by. She loves to Roleplay and play with Photoshop to express her creativeness. She is also on AL's GFX team that helps to make signatures and avatars for members and is always lending a helping hand where ever it may be needed around the community. Outside of Anime League she is a pretty normal gothic-looking chick; Inside AnimeLeague, she's your friendly neighborhood Vampiress.

Username: Pan Tao Mao Role: Hmod of GFX/Fiction Profile:Mostly goes by the name "Mao" but is commonly called the "Yaoi Queen" by her friends. She's often labeled as a pervert, but that is far from the truth! She absolutely loves Tai, her Tiger plushie as well as Hei Lei and Pan, her two BJDs. If you hear a cat's meow or squees of YAOI, she's more than likely to be around! Or, you can find this happy little kitty napping around a few different area's of AL, mainly in the Graphics, Fiction, and Art section or perhaps in Jaded Tigers, her team within the AL clan Anglo Revolution.

Username: Miyu! Role: Hmod of Crazy League Profile: Kristen/Krissy/Miyu! is a science nerd that is going to WPI for a degree in Chemical Enginnering. Despite this, she is still an insane FLCL fangirl EXTREME that drops loads of cash to go to conventions across the world, including our very own Alcon. Don't put her near kittens, chocolate, tuffins, laboratories, or language textbooks! She's completely random and full of surprises! She can be seen bouncing off the walls within Crazy League if you dare venture in!

Username: Daili Lama Role: Hmod of Ramblings Profile: Daili Lama is so damn awesome if he were to be any more awesome your head would explode! He's great with the ladies, preferably in the bedroom. He claims to have no weakness, and is sort of that final boss on your favorite videogame that you can never manage to kill. Now that you know him, how about going by his place for some “coffee”. . .

Username: Demon Wings Role: Hmod of Video Gaming Profile: Demon Wings is a Petty Officer Second Class in the U.S. Navy, currently stationed on the U.S.S. Kitty Hawk in Yokosuka Japan. He has been a regular in VG for a long time. He spent so much time there that they eventually just gave it to him! Coupled with leading the Video Game Zaibatsu, theres not much he wont eventually take over if he hangs around enough...as long its video game related! Other than that, he's also very talented in Art and Writing, but prefers drawing.

Username: Vivix Role: Hmod of Anime & Manga Profile: Vivix is energetic, random, tries to be cute and is always smiling! Chocolate is her one addiction followed by ice cream! Anime and manga rule over 95% of her mind and she has no regrets about that. She's a hardcore fangirl and she can swoon for any anime character she considers a bishie! Besides that, she can play the violin, is a ballet dancer and likes to write fanfictions.

Username: Major Katsuragi Role: Hmod of the Chatroom Profile: Kat's an art student in Chicago, Illinois (THE S IS SILENT) and she loves dolls and pretty things. ^^ She has 4 cats, and likes to eat gyros. You can usually find Kat lounging in the AL chatroom or perhaps in Photoshop turning up some amazing graphics. She loves reading books, especially ones that stimulate her brain, such as Conan Doyle, and psychologial dramas, like John R. Maxim.

These tend to vary over time. We allocate out responsibilities and switch them around so that they fit the admin as much as their official title.

Head Administrator

- Ensuring the site information pages are completed and maintained
- Maintaining the server, and dealing with server payment and contact with the server hosting company
- Coding the site
- Adding hacks and forum improvements,
- Monitoring staff for issues of misconduct
- Final decision on staff appointments
- Issuing staff reports and taking them in on a monthly basis, producing monthly reviews on the staff
- Chairs Alcon, chief liaison between the Alcon committee and general AL staff
- In charge of Team Animeleague and AL's merchandising efforts
- Deputies on forum security
- Makes the final decision on any changes to Animeleague
- Acting as the first point of contact
- Responsible for linkups and affiliations with UK conventions & meetup based sites, the UK industry and involving smaller UK groups

Deputy & Groups Administrator

- Creating, Deleting, and Managing Private Forums and Usergroups for ClanNation and other organizations around the site, - Assisting with and editing permissions on the site
- Assisting with Staffing decisions and issues
- Issuing and taking in staff reports as needed
- Temporarily step into any role on the site as needed
- Responsible for linkups and affiliations with RP sites, and involving smaller RP groups
- Producing the site news items (In the Animeleague Website forum)
- Ensuring the site information pages are completed, maintained and updated
- Responsible for linking up clans with sections and getting sponsorships going
- Organising, Chairing and acting as Secretary for staff chats every two weeks

Security Administrator

- Monitoring members on probation
- Issuing bannings and probations
- Advising on issues of warnings and so forth
- Monitoring staff for issues of misconduct
- Advising on proposed staff appointments
- Adjusting and setting permissions for staff and members
- Assigning moderator, head moderator, and administrator powers
- General dispute resolution
- Providing assisstance to the groups administrator when needed
- Responsible for linkups and affiliations with RP sites, the industry and involving smaller groups

Community Administrator

- AL GFX Design - AL Banners, Buttons, Signatures, avatars, & icons/banners
- AL Store - Design and maintain shop rank bars / items, organize & generally run shop
- Credit Givers - Add, Remove, Maintain this group, supervise overall credits system
- Forum wide Events - Plan, co-ordinate, oversee, host major AL events
- Assist New Member of Staff - This covers any questions new staff members may have, general overview in how permissions work & MCP/ACP, explain duties, expectations, staff confidentiality etc.
- Aid ALL Staff Members - Announce any/all changes in Staff in CC, Act as a "fill in" in any case a hmod/mod may be absent for any length of time
- Help sections that may have fallen behind in duties due to any absences or problems
- Help mediate and resolve any staff or forum problems, what ever they may be
-Keep the members fully informed of any forum or staffing changes
- Responsible for linkups and affiliations with pure anime sites, the industry and involving smaller groups
- Responsible for managing the assistants and schemes
