EVENT HIGHLIGHTS ANNOUNCED
On BOTH days, there will be a Video Gaming Zone, a Retro Zone, an Artist Alley, Anime Screening Zone, Trading Card Zone, Panels/Workshops, a Fighting Game Zone, anime/gaming exhibitors, Cosplay Cafe, cosplay gardens, a cosplay photography zone and not one but TWO stages of continual entertainment and much more! With so much to do, you will need to plan your day carefully to do everything!

#1. Caitlin Glass Voice Actor Q&A - This year's guest of honour shall be Caitlin Glass, best known for her role as Winry Rockbell in Fullmetal Alchemist and featuring in over FIFTY other anime and gaming roles such as Hannah Annafellows in Black Butler, Cammy in Street Fighter IV/SFxTekken and many more! She will be doing panels on both days, make sure you don't miss out!
#2 Talent Show: Find a Star - We start our 2013 search for talent in the convention-scene! Do you have a hidden talent, be it singing, dancing, stand-up performing or pretty much anything? Come enter the Talent Show, show it off and win a £30 cash prize and the opportunity to develop your act with us and star on stage at our future events!
#3 Cosplay & Manga Workshops - KellyJane, Finny Attride and Himezawa shall be hosting the cosplay workshops which shall include beginners guides to crossplay, wig/prop-making and a talk about cosplaying in Europe from our overseas guest. Meanwhile Sonia Leong from Sweatdrop shall be hosting the Manga Workshops which shall include tutorials on how to make Chibis! We shall also have a guide to creating animation workshop as well.
#4 Cosplay Auction - The Cosplay Auction is one of our big events and has everyone go up for bid, with the winner of each cosplayer getting that character for a two-hour period for the Saturday evening. 50% of the proceeds raised shall go to the convention charity.
#5 Pub Quiz - Various rounds on both anime and other more general subjects over five rounds. Get some friends together, make your own quiz team, and join in the fun. We guarantee a good time and much randomness!
#6 Dub That Anime - The aim of this event for those who have never seen it before is to dub a 30 second clip of our choice live on stage. The funnier the better. In fact..think Abridging! This can be done as an individual or group so if you think you have what it takes to be in the next Team Four Star then you can signup on the day (just come along).
#7 Otaku Fashion Show - Show us your style! The Otaku Fashion Show is a chance for you to show everyone your own unique style and get to strut your stuff on stage with a presenter narrating what you are wearing and where you got it from. We are more than happy to add your website to the presentation if you make your own! Sponsored by Spirit Models, Alt-Fashion Magazine and Devolution Magazine.
#8 J-Pop Go & WOTA London Party - Two of London's largest J-Pop nights ( http://www.wotalondon.co.uk and http://www.jpopgo.co.uk ) come together to put on an epic Saturday night party till 1am in the morning!. As well as some of the top anime DJs we have live bands and performers lined up, not to mention the free glowsticks and lollipops! (w00t!)
#9 Late Night with the Abridgers - MasakoX (DBZ Abridged), Shady and XTheDarkOne take to the stage to provide an evening of entertainment, questions and general banter/insanity. Go grab a drink and have a laugh in this fun event.
#10 HeroineX Live - Alexandra Heroinex, Winner of the Alcon Talent Show 2012 will be performing for the first time for 30 minutes at London Anime Con on 9-10 February. Along with her winning song 'Eyes On Me' from the classic game Final Fantasy VIII she will be performing a variety of songs which is mainstream, rewritten and personalized (autobiography) , musical, anime, a bit of comedy and if we have time: A nice spot of Disney. Make sure to check out this up and coming star!

#1 Cosplay Masquerade - Would you like to show off your cosplay to masses? Perhaps perform a comedy sketch of some anime-based humor. Strut your stuff and have a great time at one of the greatest traditions of the anime world! Want to enter? There will be a £50 cash prize for the best entry as determined by our panel of judges!
#2 Sunday Gamers Day - Make sure to come along and take part in the Gamers Day bought to you by the likes of Konami, Namco-Bandai and Arc-Systems. We will have a wide selection of tournaments to take part in, as well as gaming inspired live music and partying from GamerDisco later on! There'll also be a Gamers Day quiz, an entire extra area dedicated to games and more! Stay tuned for the tournament lineup with big cash prizes on offer!
#3 TEMPHUiBIS - Is an electronic music composer and animator from East London in england. Being inspired from most videos games and various electronic artists, He makes music using old video game consoles and new age synths. Read more at http://www.temphuibis.co.uk
#4 Colors UK Live - Colors are the UK's premier J-rock band. Originally from Japan and dating back to 1988, the band was reformed here in London in July 2010. One sold out mini album already behind their belt, the band have rerecorded their anthem 'Hello G' with an official video to critical acclaim. With new material showcasing their unique blend of punk rock juxtaposed with eastern melody, the band continue to take the capital by storm at London Anime Con 2013!
#5 Baka No Gameshow - Japanese Gameshow Madness! Events will include Wasabi eating, picking up peas with chopsticks, writing hiragana with a twist...and other randomness...with forfeits being handed out to the losers of each round. Signup for that at
#6 Cosplay Stars Q&A - Ask the experts! Our panel of expert-cosplayers (which include KellyJane, TealPirate, Finny Attridge and Himezawa) shall be holding a Q&A to answer your questions about anything and everything to do with cosplay!
#7 KimonoTime - KimonoTime is well known over youtube at and events for dancing and singing to popular Japanese and Anime tunes. She very quickly received attention from Japan, England and the U.S.A. She will be singing and dancing to Japanese songs; so look forward to her exciting, foot tapping performance! Read more at http://www.kimonotime.net
#8 Cosplay Blind Date - With Valentine's Day just round the corner, we want to help your cosplay character find love! Come sign up and play who you are cosplaying in character as we matchmake you up on stage!
#9 Two Hearts 1 UP - Two Hearts Away From a One Up (2hearts1up for short) are a chiptune duo who met at college and began by making indie games together. Brought to fame for this madman party-making attitude they've released two albums already and have another masterpiece in the works. They are Daniel Boyle and Connor Morrissey and originate from Manchesstar and Landan respectively. THESE BOYS ARE CHIPTUNE AND THEY WILL ROCK YOU
#10 Clan Battle Showdown - Have you joined a clan yet? Go check out the Pocket Monsters, Magical Girls and Shonen Fighters HQ topics on the forums at http://www.animeleague.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?139 You can also sign up for a clan on the day. During the event everyone can earn points, with a lot of points being awarded in this, the clan battle showdown; the event that will determine which clan emerges victorious from London Anime Con 2013!
