      Re: CityScape Police Station Chapter 5 (Mature Content)

      "Ursula," the woman answered with a bright smile. She then leaned down to whisper. "Don't cause any trouble though, if you do I'll be in even bigger trouble with the council for letting in an outsider." She straighted once more, smoothed back her thick, black hair, and with a small wave headed off to where the rest of the patrol pack awaited her. She smiled at her comrades andsoon disappeared into the foray of tents and campfires.

      Within the segregated tent on the other side of caern, Duke calmed. The unfamiliar reply let him know well enough that the other meant no harm, but did not calm his natural instincts. The rottwieler pealed himself out of the cot where Daniel still napped and sniffed his way to the tent entrance. He poked his head out and was greeted with the sight of the unfamiliar Magewolf posted outside. Discretely he inched forward intent on sniffing out the details of who she was.

      Iyo's eyes widened in surprise at the man's words. She said nothing at first and then, slowly, she looked at the Marshal over the shoulder. "Could you give us a moment, Marshal?" She wouldn't go trapsing off onto her front lawn, not with so many others with Spike, but she would grant him the unspoken request for privacy. After all, she was sure the man would not approve of knowing she chose employment under the very man who had reaked havok on that church. Even if she did enjoy the attention he had been showing her the last several hours.

      Alice returned to the booth with her plate filled to the brim. An extra plate was set off to the side to be used as a trash bin, so to speak, for whatever shells, bones, or unedibles she came across. Her eyes lifted when Jamal spoke and she smiled."And more.This is just the appetizer, hun." Her gaze drifted back down to her plate and she reached out and promptly began to eat.

      It twook about twenty minutes for her to clear her plate and when she was done, she was up again to fill another. The process would repeat itself for nearly an hour,even as the place began to get busier. She just kept going at it, almost with a single mindedness about it. She had giving up quite a bit of energy after all, and she needed plenty of food to even make a dent in the hunger.

      Raven waited until the man was far enough away before he tapped the ear piece that would connect him to the others. "Blonde hair, beanie, jacket. Paid a bit too much attention to a homeless guy rummaging through the trash." He tossed a few empty cans into his cart. "He's headed your way Glea."

      Brooks eyes darted to the window just as the man stepped into view. "Got 'em," he murmured as he lifted his beer mug to his lips. His eyes followed the man as he spoke into his phone and moved to a far corner of the room. His eyes remained trained on his lips the best he could making what he could of his few lip reading skills, and using his ears for th rest.

      The BSD cringed, just slightly at the ear piercing sound but nodded with a wicked grin and approval. The thunder of footsteps echoed beyond the shut door. He moved quickly and swept Lynn unceremonously up and over a broad shoulders. "Play dead for a bit hmm? Need to give a proper showing after all."

      He did not wait for a response as he simply moved to the office door. His form shifted seamlessly, growing in height and size. Cltohes melted into fur, and soon, one large, furry foot slammed into the door, knocking the metal frame into the hall and, incidently, into a few officers that stood on the other side. Then, looking nothing short of a werewolf you hear about in the books, or see on TV, he stalked out into the hall, bearing his entire weight on the broken door now beneath him, and the officers beneath it. His teeth were bared and a snarling growl of warning escaped him.

      Excitement thrummed through his system. Even if this was a staged.

      Re: CityScape Police Station Chapter 5 (Mature Content)

      "Heinzburg's?" The man repeated. "Sounds perfect."

      "You...really wanna do this?"

      "It's already done, Kir. Might as well make it official, right?"

      "I've been with ya for twenty years!" The brunette bellowed out, throwing her arms into the air overly dramatically. "Where's my ring, ya asshole? Huh--?" The woman reached over the bar as she tried smacking the boxer around, her attitude and careless flails of her hands clearly indicating her playfulness in her teasing of whom she considered her older brother. "Blondie's with ya for what--a day, 'n she gets one!? No way, give me my ring, ya motherfucker. Put it on my finger,"

      Leon couldn't help but laugh as he leaned back in his stool, latching his hands over the woman's arms as he gently pushed her away.

      "Get outta here," he chuckled.

      "Just sayin'," the brunette replied with a grin and a feminine chuckle as she withdrew, grabbing the bottle she set down to take a swig from it.

      The silver haired man finished off his second glass of water as he slid out from his seat and placed both hands to smooth over the lapels of his jacket. He turned to look at the doctor with a lingering smile placed over his lips.

      "It was nice meeting you." With that, he turned to look at the bartender. "Good to see you alive, Kira. Don't do anything too crazy, huh?"

      "I ain't makin' no promises," she replied, watching as the man turned and soon left out the front entrance. In moments the sound of a rolling motorcycle engine could be heard as he zipped away from the bar, leaving Kira, the doctor, and the other patrons.

      "The worlds gone crazy, baby," Kira stated mindlessly as she took another swig.

      Sure enough, the woman asked for it and sure enough, the Marshal seemed hesitant. He stared down at Iyo, then at Spike, his face showing little signs of emotion as he spoke,

      "Ya got two minutes."

      Was it unfair? Probably. Did he care? Not one bit. In all honesty, he wasn't surprised she had asked him to go. She kept her employment relatively secretive up until this point. There was no reason she wouldn't continue, but as requested, the man moved, slipping himself away from the tarp as he turned to walk away from it, his footsteps heard trailing further and further away until he was out of eavesdropping reach.

      The man watched as Kiki began to chow down of her plate full of food before he too began to eat. As time passed and the plates started to get filled and refilled once more, Hoss soon became full, deciding to bow out from the all you can eat after only his second helping. Kiki, however, just continued eating and as the two made small talk during the hour, Hoss found himself watching in growing amazement at the woman's impressive appetite.

      Unaware of the attention he drew, Zeke simply remained in the corner, at times turning his entire body away to speak into the phone towards the corner and at others, briefly glancing around the bar at the various patrons that chose to drink there. His icy blue settled on the bar for a few seconds as he spoke,

      "--Meet me at 4th and Drudasil."

      With that, he ended the call and slowly turned to slip out of the bar and down the street, once more pushing his hands into his pockets as he walked.

      The officers who got trapped beneath the door were left with strained groans in an attempt to scream or shout with the weight of the door, along with the weight of the beast and the woman he held pushing against their bodies. The ruckus quickly drew the attention of the mob of officers that rushed closer towards the noise and Jacy was right on their heels. Then, when they turned the corner, they stopped, stammering, weapons being drawn.

      Jacy stepped to the side to get a better view, seeing Lynn hoisted over the shoulder of what she could only describe as a werewolf. The blood drained from her face at the sight of the body and the thing that held her.

      "Harper!" she called out, instantly drawing out her own sidearm to point at the beast.

      "Indeed it has," Ben said when Leon had left and Kira had said her final bit. The world was no less than insane really. He finished off his drinks and set the glass down neatly and leaned on the bar.

      "What are the plans for the evening?" He asked casually though he was tempted to make a query regarding the boxer but that was none of his business and would lead to stuff he likely cared nothing about. The man was getting married and that was obvious enough. Marriage was not a word Ben was overly fond of since he was turned down by his 'love'. He brushed the matter aside and concentrated on the potential fun to be had.

      ~~~
      What could she do? She listened. Trusting him was all she could do for now, because if she didn't...well, she started to fear. Hopefully he would go through on the job and this would help Carl. And no one would be harmed.
      Even at the sounds of gasp. Even as Jacy called to her, though it pained her, the officer remained limp. Years of yoga and pilates gave her control enough to remain loose. The face, well she'd had that down to an art since she was a child. By all accounts, this werewolf or whatever could have murdered the detective.
      Tsunami had heard the scream and had sent her remote weapons into the police station.. they had easily found the location and reported what was going on.. the Cybernetic Weapon had jumped down off the roof with somewhat of a hard wham off the ground then hovered in fairly quickly afterwards... "i would recommend you yield, Wolf-Ancestor." she said with nothing but calmness in her voice as the remote weapons had gotten themselves into position to attack him and not hit the person he held with the blue-glowing blades mounted on them... she had sensor scanned the person he was holding, but didn't say a thing about the scan..
      --
      the MageWolf turned her head to the dog that had come out and held her hand out to him, so he could check her out.. he could see that her arm was bandaged and that she had a calm, gentle and kind demeanor.. she pretty much sat still other than her ears twitching around as she was still listening for any intruders approaching..
      Re: CityScape Police Station Chapter 5 (Mature Content)
      Her lips widened to a small grin as she set her hands on the bar, slipping her digits together all the while watching the good doctor. Scanning her eye over the man's attire, she took in the details of his outfit before it settled over his face.
      "First, we gather the toys, baby," She said easily as she tilted her head with a slight jerk to indicate the man should follow her behind the bar. Then, she turned, stepped closer towards the back rack of her bar and ever so slowly slid her hands along the bottles, raising her am as it moved to the upper left corner where she entrapped the neck of a bottle in her fingers and gave it a firm tug down. The action forced the back rack to shift forward and to the side, exposing a space of about four inches on the opposite end. Kira then moved and clasped her fingers over the opening as she forced the rack to slide completely.
      The selection was vast, a sea of glittering stones, catching the light in ways that would leave anyone mesmerized by the flawless colorless facets. Like any jewelry store, sizes ranged from small to big, beautifully simple to divine intricate designs, single to many and the boxer found himself simply standing there for a moment, scanning his eyes over each extravagant piece of jewelry displayed.
      He took a slow, deep breath in as he brought his gloved hand up to smooth through his silvery chopped hair, gently rubbing the top of his head with his fingertips. There were far too many to choose from and worry of whether or not the woman would even approve of whatever he chose began to prick at his gut. She was used to lavish, had grown up with it all around her, everywhere she looked when she was younger...and it would be her who would wear it for the rest of her life...
      "Oh, crap..." He muttered beneath his breath with a soft sigh, gently fisting silver hair between his fingers.
      His dilemma seemingly caught the attention of one of the olive skinned women working inside, an exotic looking thing with a sweet voice, who asked him if he was finding everything he needed. Leon inquired about something different, something rare, something that wasn't just the glimmering colorless stars that filled the display cabinets of the shop and with his words, the woman disappeared off into the back, only to return moments later with a boxed ring in her hand. Being told that indeed it was rare, it was also pricey...authentic alexandrite, a color changing stone, he was told by the woman, that was not only said to possess a strong connection between the natural and supernatural world, but supposedly brought inner peace to the wearer and represented the duality of human nature. It was all rubbish to him. He just wanted something different and the woman most certainly delivered.
      "..."
      Between two fingers, the man inspected the ring, rolling the white gold band gently between his thumb and pointer as he studied the smooth facets and how the light touched them. The gemstone by itself was something of a cooling teal color, but when moved, it displayed several different hues between deep blues and vibrant greens, changing its color with simple movement alone. Beside the main oval cut gemstone were two trillion cut diamonds on either side, vibrant and beautiful in their flawless design.
      "How much does this run?"
      "Eighty-four thousand, six hundred."
      "..." The fighter's brow slowly cocked at the ludicrous answer, turning his gray eyes up to look at the woman. "...Seriously?"
      Runt remember Spike saying something similar but still it did not understand. These people are just going to keep doing it and someone needs to put a stop to it. This planets method was only a temporary solution. Runt was about to explain this when he heard the scream. He followed Jacy our of her office and through the station. It was then that he saw the beast. It was huge and reminded him of a creature back on Esther. He took a few steps back from Jacy and readied himself to pounce the creature if it charged the group. He did not know how strong the creature was but he knew he was made stronger and faster than normal humans and he could probably knock it off balance.
      ~*~
      Zero smiled as he turned and followed the scent. He wondered what the council was and why she would get in trouble. She seemed like a really nice lady. He would have to ask her later. He made his way through the camp and finally he found his fourlegged friend and another strange creature. He got excited and hopped the last bit of distance to the pup.
      "DUKE"
      ~*~
      Spike watched as the man turned and left them. He did not trust him at all so he pulled a small metal sphere from a pouch on his leg.
      "We call this a sound bubble. it will encase us in a invisible bubble that keeps any sound from escaping it. I just do not trust the Marshal."
      Spike pushed a small red button on the sphere and set it on the ground. There was a small green light on the sphere that lit up so Spike knew it was on.
      "Zombie has postponed your meeting. Something has happened with the generator and I am to tell you to wait a few days. He said there are high lvls of radiation and he is doing his best to fix it. No one is allowed to enter the lab. Are you already packed and ready to go?"
      Re: CityScape Police Station Chapter 5 (Mature Content)
      Sure, money wasn't an issue and sure, he wasn't a materialistic man...but perhaps that was part of his problem. Try as he might, he simply couldn't understand the reasoning as to why jewelry was so damn expensive. He grew up, satisfied with the bare minimums. He didn't need anything fancy, didn't care for extravagant cars, or even that penthouse he stayed in, complimentary from the hotel for his fighting lifestyle. Give him a beat up bicycle, a t-shirt, and a pair of pants and he'd be just as content as he was now, if not more so...so long as he got to feel the thrill of fighting, it was all the same to him. After all, over the years, he came to learn that money never bought one happiness...if anything it just dulled sadness, giving a false sense of security in one's self.
      But Jacy wasn't like him, didn't grow up the same as him and ultimately, this wasn't for him...it was for her, so with that in mind, the silver haired man shrugged his shoulders, pressed a half smile over his lips and proceeded to ask for some type of engraving on the inside of the band to personalize it for the woman, the initials of both of their first names along with the words 'Two hearts...one soul'
      When they started to do the finishing touches on the beautiful piece, that small ball of nervousness was slowly growing within him...and part of him...almost felt sick. Was that normal?
      You're not getting stronger, Lee. You're getting weaker.
      His jaw clenched as his eyes lingered over nimble hands that went to work with the ring, and though his pride would force him to deny those very words, the feelings inside, that slight self doubt he held made him question it. Fear. It was the only way he could describe that overwhelming feeling that washed over him. If he was truly getting weaker, could he really protect her the way he promised, the way he wanted to? Maybe he should...wait...hold back. As everything became more real, he came to realize just how scared he was, while his worries piled up in his thoughts. Would he make a good husband? Would he be able to give her everything she needed, be the man she needed him to be? A fist gently clenched out of nervousness, his eyes unable to be withdrawn from engraving hands.
      Re: CityScape Police Station Chapter 5 (Mature Content)
      Iyo smiled thankfully though the man would not see it and turned her focus back onto Spike. She remained on the porch as he pulled out a strange device and set it to work. She was marveled byt he technology but kept that curiosity under as Spike spoke. It was a surprise to her that Zombie left the message with the man. In doing so though, she made the natural assumption that perhaps he would be working with Zombie as well.
      Iyo's lips pulled down at the corners as he spoke and then looked at the U-Haul she and the Marshal had spent the majority of the morning packing and filling. For what now? IF the laboratory was out of a commission for the next couple of days due to radiation problems, what was she supposed to do till then?! She had packed up all her work, canceled any connection with smaller clients, killed her security system, and had no front door to keep out intruders! Her mind worked quickly to try a find a solution as she nodded in understanding as well as in affirmation to the man's question.
      "He helped me pack some things." She slid her hands over her arms and sighed. "Thank you for letting me know, Mr. Spiegal. It's very much appreciated."
      Nearly two hours and five plates of food later, Alice sat back. She was satisfied for the time being. She wiped her mouth, finished that last of her tea and then smiled at Jamal contently. "Enjoy the show?" she asked with a mirthful grin. Her gaze turned and she waved down the waitress for the check. She then proceeded to shuffled around the pockets of her pe-coat which still lay abandoned and ignored inthe booth next to her. She pulled out a platinum credit card and promptly handed it over without a second thought.
      A steady buzz drew her attention back to her coat and after a bit of flitting around her pockets she pulled out her cellphone and looked at the screen. She paled a little at the ID and promptly slid out of the booth. "I'll be right back. Important call..."
      Alice did not wait for Jamal's reply as she hurriedly moved towards the front doors of the restaurant and pushed the phone to her ear. "This is Walker."
      "Miss. Walker. Finally!" Vance's secretary's cold voice echoed over the line. "Do you realize what time it is? We've been trying to get a hold of you since this morning!"
      Alice winced as she pressed out into the cold and tugged Jamal's coat around her a little tighter. The hour was running into the late afternoon, the sun was already starting set. She really had lost track of time. Of everything really. "I-I'm sorry. Somethings came up."
      "Somethings, Miss. Walker?" Alice winced a little more at the freezing tone. She hated Vance's secretary, almost as much as she was sure he hated her. Yes he, and a damn queen if she ever saw one. he had been livid jealous of her ever since she took to the job under Vance. Perhaps angry that his employer chose a women, which was no surprise since there wasn't a gay bone in the man's body. Or if there was, Alice had long since rid him of it.
      "Yes. Things."
      "Need I remind you of the stipulations of your contract," he huffed on the other end of the line. "Or perhaps you merely don't care what happens to that young girl anymore? If that's the case tell me now and we'll take good care to get rid of her. Perhaps sell her off where she can actually be of some use. I heard Mr. Vance has been getting bored with her." Alice stiffened. "Or maybe we should just go grab that little cop girl back? She's filled out. A little tomboyish, but we've been keeping tabs."
      Vance was a smart man. He knew good and well that Alice would have left the first chance she got, even if she had settled into the lifestyle. So, at times when they felt worried that she was straying, they dangled both young women over her head, her conscience, to ensure she stayed in line. "Look. I get it. I get it."
      "Good. I expect to see you in the office within the next hour, and with that video of the opposing mayor candidate."
      "Yeah, yeah. I'll be there."
      "Don't be late."
      Alice's jaw clenched but she ended the call. She then took in a breath, filling her throat with the cool air, and closed her eyes willing herself to calm. Getting worked up about this was not going to solve anything, and she knew good and well what she was getting into when she had agreed to Vance's conditions. It wasn't like she was treated badly, just that the more she got involved in Vance's scheming the more she felt like she was dipping her hands into blood. She hated that feeling. She hated it with a passion.
      Brooks had kept watch, discretely, the entire time. He mentally noted what information he could and when the man rose and slipped out of the bar's doors, Brooks taped his ear piece: "Subjects moving. Definitely shady. I'm tailing." He lifted the beer, down it and then rose.
      "Make sure to keep your distance," Raven warned over the communicator. He had moved positions to across the street from the bar himself where he occupied a bus bench and pretended to sleep under layers of newspaper and a dingy baby blanket he procured from the dumpster. "You're a big dude, it'll be hard to not get noticed."
      "I know, I know," Brooks murmured back as he slipped out and onto the streets. His gaze settled on Raven's form, and the Detective promptly jerked a his down the street where he saw the man last head. Brooks nodded and, with hands shoved deep into his coat, started down the street. In the far distance he spotted the shock of pale blond hair peeking out from the man's hat and locked onto the sight. His long strides put him at an appropriate distance, but not too terribly close for anyone to think much of. Or at least he hoped.
      "Harper!"
      Lynn didn't move at the call, much to the beast's pleasure. She was obedient through and through, and for a moment he entertained the thought of seriously hurting someone simply because, well, he wanted to see how long she could keep that facade up. He refrained, however and leveled the group of officers with a wide, snarling, grin.
      "I would recommend you yield, Wolf-Ancestor."
      His grin only widened. Without a thought to just how much damage he would cause, he suddenly launched forward. One had kept Lynn's body firmly pinned against his broad shoulder, and the other hit the ground to aid in his sudden sprint. He would barrel through the group, confident in the fact that they would nod dare shoot with one of their own in his grasp. His goal was to now simply get out of the station. Would would travel to Carl, no doubt, and the ma's calm would be tested. His control put under duress. Granted, that meant he'd probably not be able to walk around Cityscape in this form again after this, but that was fine. The BSD wasn't too fond of spending long hours in the City anyways.
      Duke inched further out of the tent to sniff at the offered hand and, after a moment, licked it in acceptance. His stubbed tail wagged and he seemed content with the attention until a voice called out from further away. His ears perked and his head turned and soon landed on the familiar sight of Zero. Instantly he barked in excitement and lowered his chest to the ground, his but in the air, and wagged it excitedly. His long, pink tongue lolled out and when Zero was close enough began with the licking and nipping at the smaller creatures face and neck.
      Inside the tent, Daniel stirred. He rubbed his eyes and slowly sat up. With the noise outside he pulled himself out of the cot and approached the tent flap. Slowly he peeked out. "Duke, what's all the noise?"
      OOC Will post Runt in the morning. To sleepy
      IC:Spike looked at the woman again. This Mr crap was getting old quick. He let it slid for the moment but he was sure he would correct her later.
      "If you want I can move you to my camp near the Biolab. That way you do not have to worry about unpacking or someone walking through your front door. Plenty of security but not a lot of electricity. I could get some though and to sweeten the deal I will let you have a look at some of our technology. What do you say?"
      ~*~
      Zero was almost lifted off the ground when Dukes tongue swiped across his face. He fell to his back as Duke nipped at his neck. Zero laughed as he stuck his feet up and playfully kicked at duke. He would manage to slightly push him back before being barraged again. Zero would imitate a dog bark in between laughs.
      Tsunami's remote weapons went on the attack, becoming very fast blue glowing blurs as they went after the Wolf-Ancestor's legs to at least try to impede his mobility as she was knocked over by his dash and sent sliding across the ground a little... she flipped herself into the air using the thrusters mounted in her lower legs and back, landing on her feet then jumped backwards with a slight whirring as she spun around and went into a thruster-assisted dash that would match the Wolf-Ancestor's speed, leaving scoremarks on the floor from the jump and few steps she took to assist in getting the dash going..
      --
      the MageWolf heard the voice calling Duke and watched the dog for a moment before she turned her head to see who, or rather what had called the dog's name.. she heard the bark then heard the little one at the tent flap.. she turned her head to the little one and softly said "hello... seems Duke has a visitor that he knows..." if he looked her way, he'd see the MageWolf with the silver-tipped black ears and tail in her human-like form with bandages and a splint on her wounded arm, sitting near the entrance..
      [and here's the mysterious and insane powerful MageWolf's profile... lol might rework it a little...
      Name: Kyrana Tanraiokahai
      Sex: Female
      Age: 171
      Race: HyperEvolved MageWolf [mostly the same as a regular MageWolf, but has stronger regeneration capabilities, and has a resistance to most drugs that affect her physical and mental state [it would take twice the normal dose for her to be affected, and even then it won't last as long...] poisons have little to no effect on her due to the resistance to her own venom...[Ryashi, Kahlan and Aiko also have this resistance, though not as strong..]]
      Appearance: Kyrana.. [only she's usually much more properly set with her attire.. lol]
      Personality: kind, gentle, dislikes fighting, but near unstoppable if forced to fight....
      Weapons: claws, venomous fangs [these are in her Wolf form only..] she can summon swords using her power, she can also call strange lizard-like creatures to aid her in a battle and can form ghostly appearing wings... one black, the other white.. they can take various forms, but house two powerful entities that will assist her in a fight.. the wings and the swords, she can only use in her EX Awakened state.. the summoning she rarely does, unless she's taking on a group of attackers by herself or the group she's with is outnumbered.. the creatures can spit acid, claw, bite and tail-whip.. they can be run as mass npcs once Kyrana summons them..]
      Position:
      History: very few know of her history or what she truly is outside of the Ranos Galaxy, but she has had a bounty on her ever since a few others had discovered she had a devastatingly powerful ability, though no attempts to capture her have ever been sucessful to date.. she is the daughter of Kethry and Reika Aicara-Tanraiokshai, and Kahlan's Granddaughter.. ]
      Re: CityScape Police Station Chapter 5 (Mature Content)
      "Enjoy the show?"
      Hoss chuckled at her words, muttering some words of agreement as a small smile pressed over his lips. It was indeed quite the long show to watch and while part of him was dumbfounded a woman of her size could even manage to put away a meal good for ten, another was thoroughly impressed with it. She could no doubt hustle hard cash in an eating competition if she wanted to and be the sexiest woman alive doing it. From where he sat, he was given a fairly easy view down the woman's body--no outrageously distended stomach like one would imagine, not at all...she was still rather gorgeous, even more so for not being shy.
      Then the buzzing soon caught his attention and hers and with her words of departure, the large man then peered over at the waitress and he too shuffled his hands through his back pocket to retrieve his wallet, pulling out his own card. If this was a date...shouldn't he pay? That was how he was brought up in any case and within seconds his card was also handed to the woman.
      "...Leave hers here--take mine..."
      He wouldn't even think about it a second longer, reaching a large hand out to slip Kiki's card from the woman's fingers, holding it within his hand as he briefly turned his head to look behind himself and through the entrance, where he last saw the woman disappear off to. After a few seconds, he turned back, then slid his form out of the booth to stand, readjusting his shirt before he began gathering the belongings the woman left behind. The waitress soon returned with his card and once he tipped the woman, he tucked it back in its rightful place, then moved, Kiki's belongings in hand as he slowly approached the entrance and pushed his way outside.
      Dark eyes looked down at the woman as he pressed his sunglasses back on his face.
      "...Everything alright?..."
      He kept his movements through the snow covered sidewalks casual, yet stiff as he tried to contain what body heat he emitted inside his jacket, passing by numerous civilians before he rounded the corner of a street and continued moving onward, clearly unaware of the one who chose to tail him. The majority of the trip seemed rather uneventful as the man just continued walking. The sun had started to set, fiery orange dispersing as the sun gradually moved out of sight, welcoming the night's embrace instead. But then, as he came to the cross streets of 4th and Drudasil, the man seemed to be a bit more shady, at times peering over his shoulder and at others, checking around the streets for the tell tale sign of cops nearby, blue and red flashing lights. When he was greeted with none, he continued to move across the street and began taking the back trails and shortcuts, eventually stopping in a seemingly empty, cold alleyway, where his contact was waiting for him.
      "Oh, fuck man, it's cold as shit out here--" The guy complained, an average sized man with spiked dark hair. "Ya got that shit?"
      "Moron--keep your fuckin' voice down..." Zeke responded coldly, reaching a hand into his coat. "Show me the cash first."
      It's...smiling...
      Jacy thought, her eyes widening with confusion and fear as her lips parted, casting her gaze over the massive beast, but before she could regain her composure, or even her thoughts for that matter, the thing had charged its way directly at them, barreling through the mob of officers and sending many flying backwards and to the side. No matter how fast her reflexes were, everything happened dangerously fast and the human woman in heels didn't stand a chance when a fully grown male officer was nearly thrown from the force into her. Pain shot up her leg when her ankle twisted and the man's weight pressed down against her own. Both of them hit the floor with a thud and hiss of pain from the woman, the man knocking himself out cold from his skull smacking against the wall and Jacy was left pinned beneath him. As quickly as she could, her arms shot out to roll the man over, her head snapping to look behind her in time to see the beast and cybernetic female dash away from the chaos that was left.
      "Harper--!" The woman called out, her voice echoing down the hall as she rose to her feet, some of the other officers already trying to give chase to no avail. Jacy herself giving chase for several steps, before she gradually slowed to a stop. There was no use. It was too fast...Her mind whirled on what exactly that thing was and with a turn of her head, she said to the officers that remained, "Get any wounded to the infirmary--" with that she pulled out her own cell phone and dialed Rodriguez's number. It was the only person she could think of, who could provide answers.
      The amount of time it took for the older man to complete the elegant script on the inside of the ring was hardly noticed by the boxer as he stood there, hands in his pockets, watching with careful eyes as he completed his work. A few turns of his skillful fingers and the ring was released from its binds inside the machine that held it steady for him. Gray eyes shifted with the movements and the man who possessed them could only watch silently as a clean, soft rag was ran through the inside of the metal, clearing away any debris. Then, it was placed into an elegant midnight blue box and was readied for checkout along with a genuine certificate of authenticity.
      Leon proceeded to thank the old man for his time, complimenting him on his efficiency, shaking his hand before he drew closer to the front desk. Once there, he simply couldn't help himself, eyes drawn down to focus on the box as the younger olive skinned woman proceeded to congratulate him, wishing him the best of luck. She would smile and he would hardly notice while other things occupied his mind instead.
      "Sir?"
      "Hm?" Had he spaced out? The screen he now stared out saying 'Please swipe your card' seemed to suggest so. "Ah...sorry-" he apologized as he tucked his hand into his back pocket and pulled out a worn leather wallet, fumbling inside it before his fingers tugged the titanium card he had tucked inside, pulling out his license as well out of sheer habit before he slid his card into the slot and promptly held his identification out for the woman to examine. Then...he signed his name on the screen and before he knew it, he tucked the receipt away, held the box in his hand, and had walked out, leaving behind him a few pleased jewelers.
      He stepped out and was instantly greeted with the setting sun, darkness growing in the skies above. With the soft velvety box in his grasp, he took a deep breath in of polluted tainted city air, tilting his chin up to watch as the sun hid for the day. How long had he been in that store? It was hard to tell and he wouldn't even try to determine the time. Instead, he moved through the snow covered ground towards his transportation, straddled the seat, and started it up as he drove away. Figuring it was about time to pick the blonde up, he decided on his next destination: the police station.
      As intriguing as Spike's invitation sounded, Iyo immediately shook her head. Just the word 'camp' inspired too many unpelasant scenerios in her head for her to even consider it, even to satisfy her curiousity. Camping meant no walls, or simple tents, and tons of men she knew little to nothing about. With her computer offline and unable to access information she needd to make herself comfortable, as it was, it was even more a terrifying thought than staying the night in her doorless home. At least she could sleeping her bed, lock the door to the room she was sleeping in, and feel at least marginally safe in her solitude. Going to a camp with a man that had once tried to hold her hostage, with men under his command? No no no! That was asking too much.
      "Thank you, Mr. Spiegal, but no thank you," she said politely as a shiver went up her spine. It could easily be written off as a chill from the cold. "I'll be perfectly fine here." She was getting over her fears, step by step, but that... that was too far for even herself.
      Duke paused in mid nibble of Zero's paw at Daniel's voice and he looked up at Daniel as the boy poked his head through. The boy turned his eyes from the sight of Duke, who promptly released Zero's foot and began to bounce and playfully dash back and forth around the small creature, to the woman who spoke. Confusion formed on his face and he frowned a little in suspicion.
      "Who're you?" Before Daniel could get an answer though, a steady ring drifted up from within the tent. His head tilted towards it then, slowly he disappeared back inside and rutted out the bags they had brought with them. Before long he found his father's cellphone and after a bit of fiddling answered it with a press to his ear. "H-hello?"
      He had just made it out of the stations front doors when a sharp pain shot up one of those furry legs thanks to one of those weapon shots. At first he stumbled, catching himself on the rail of the steps leading to the parking lot in front of the station. The metal beant beneath his way and this time a real growl of annoyance rumbled up his throat. He didn't stop though, but instead dashed forward further, moving into the street and the darkness that had settled over the city. He ducked into the nearest alley way, and kept to them, keeping to the dark patches of the city as fluidly as a squirl on the run would keep to the underbrush.
      Blood boiling anger began to rise though. Much quicker than the anger that took it's time in Carl. BSDs were very quick to anger though, so it was no surprise.
      "...Everything alright?..."
      Alice's eyes opened and she turned a little to look at Jamal. A small smile, somewhat forced, pressed onto her lips and a hand lifted to smooth her hair back out of her face. "Ah.. yeah.. just work. I'm afraid I'm going to have to cut the date short." Her grin turned apologetic. "Sorry."
      If she had her choice she'd say screw work, Vance Industries, and that snotty flaming jackass. Alas she could not and was unfortunately ending what would have otherwise been a very pleasant day. "Maybe we can take a raincheck on that movie, huh?"
      Brooks kept keen eyes on the man, and took note that as the light faded and streetlights began to blink on, he grew more paranoid, more cautious. Brooks lifted his shoulders, and huddled down into his coat a bit as a freezing breeze brushed past him. His hand then lifted and her tapped his communicator.
      "Base, Gleason," he murmured, "he's on 4th and Drudasil...heading east through alleyways. Definitely a buyer or dealer."
      "Copy that," came the response. "Keep on him, if there's an exchange, take 'em down. Wolshire?"
      "I'm heading that way for backup."
      Brooks did not reply as the man disappeared into one of the alleyways. He followed, tapping the side of his glasses to ensure the night vision was on and working. As the man came to a step Brooks took to the corner where he knelt down, below eye level, and carefully pulled the glasses off. He reached around and set the frames onto the top of a stuffed metal trash can.
      "Can you see?" he murmured quietly.
      "Turn it a centimeter to the left and I'll be good on this end."
      Obediently Brooks did as instructed and once the glasses were set, he reached into his coat and pulled out his gun, waiting, just waiting for things to go down.
      Re: CityScape Police Station Chapter 5 (Mature Content)
      "I hope ya got all ya secrets out--time's up--"
      The Marshal's voice came from behind the tarp just as he went to push the fabric to the side, cutting his words short when he noticed the young robotist and the mercenary in some type of...bubble? It seemed during the brief moments he allowed the two some privacy, he took the time to find his Stenson on the recliner and had put it back on its rightful resting place and now that he was outside, all he could do was just stand there, arms crossed watching them from the doorway to the young woman's home.
      Well now...what was the point of him leaving if they were just going to use a sound proof bubble thing?
      Jacy peered down at the cracked ruined floors of the station where the cybernetic female decided to dash from her spot to give chase to the large beast who had Lynn. The destruction was like a mockery staring directly at her and as she listened to the line ring, she could almost hear the council getting up her ass about damages among other things.
      "H-hello?"
      The woman blinked at the unexpected voice that eventually came to greet her on the other line, her brows lifting slightly when she came to realize that little boy's voice was most likely Carl's son.
      "Daniel?" The woman offered, trying to keep her tone light on the phone as she looked around, watching as the standing officers began to help their comrades from the floor. "...Is your father around by any chance? It's me--Ms. Pane."
      Hoss gave a small nod to the woman's words as he looked down at her.
      "...Sure, I'm in no rush..." He said, that deep voice escaping him smoothly as he raised a hand to slide over her back while he continued to walk beside her. Despite his rough looks, he hardly seemed shamed carrying what the woman had left behind and instead, he focused his steps back towards the woman's vehicle, slipping inside the passenger seat once more as he waited for her.
      Zeke's eyes shifted when he heard the sound of an extra pair of footsteps crunching snow beneath weight and off to the side another emerged, dressed in a hoodie with a gun in his hand. The blond hardly seemed perturbed by the weapon, but more annoyed than anything else.
      "We were supposed to meet alone."
      "Look, man--" the spikey haired man stammered out nervously. "I don't got twelve hundred. I just need that shit, y'know?"
      "So what?" He said as his eyes refocused on the buyer. "You think I give a shit? I'm not giving you discount. That's not how this works."
      The man, agitated and coming down from a high decided to try and charge at the blond, who simply stood there, hands in pockets, only moving when the man got close enough for him to slam the top of his skull against the others, sending his body to fall on his back against the snow, while the man in the hoodie raised his gun.
      "Damn you, Zeke! Thought you were one of us! You think you're going home alive!?"
      "Sure do." He then turned to look at the other man. "...Wanna give it a try?"
      The cold breeze rushed through his jacket as the man sped down the streets, using the glowing streetlights and the glow of the vehicle to guide him towards his destination, the weight of the box inside his pocket a constant reminder of the promise he would make. Still, he managed to keep his thoughts focused on the road, zipping down the streets with ease as he continued on.
      Re: CityScape Police Station Chapter 5 (Mature Content)
      Name: Serena Carreno
      Sex: Female
      Age: 25
      Race: Demon
      Appearance: http://i1206.photobucket.com/albums/...a/Serena94.png
      Personality: Serena is not an openly trusting person, everyone she meets or already knows are treated with the same equal weariness. By nature Serena is a loner, she rarely wants to get involved with people unless they can be of use to her or she can gain something in return from them. Most people would probably describe her as fiery and feisty, someone who doesn’t know when to hold her tongue in dangerous situations. Serena’s outer shell is as cold as the silver of her eyes. She generally acts like a bitch and will push away any sort of human companionship but she is not below sleeping around to gain information. While she can sometimes appear gently and kind, Serena is a dab hand with a gun and she will not hesitate slaughtering someone in order to come out on top. Of course, Serena is as soft as a bunny when it comes to her family, who she is fiercely protective of. If you want to, for any reason, get a reaction out of her all you have to do is mention her brother or mother. A few words to sum her up are: Arrogant, confident, violent, untrustworthy, conniving, sly, colorful, and mysterious and a damn good thief.
      Weapons: Twin daggers and a Desert Eagle .50 cal, both were gifts from an old friend.
      Position: Freelance assassin....Full time thief.
      History: Serena and her older brother Xander were adopted at young ages by a woman of wealthy standing. The woman knew what it was the siblings were and had chosen them for their blood alone. She made them attend lessons in defence and taught them how to use their demonic powers to the best of her knowledge. Despite knowing that their new mother was only using them in order to deal with her enemies in high society, the siblings loved her. As the years ticked by Xander and Serena both grew up to become completely different people. Xander opted to abandon his demon side and settled down with a family while his Serena continued to excel in assassinations. Their adoptive mother passed away at the ripe old age of 86 and left her fortune to the two siblings. Serena gave the house to Xander and only took a small portion of her inheritance. She felt that she was already making enough with her private work.
      Serena currently lives in 3 bedroom apartment alone and spends most of her free time either shopping or in meetings with people wanting to sign a contract with her. While she is bound to follow any contract that she has signed, Serena will not stand for being misused. If she feels the second party are being unjust or using her, she will pull out of the contract or even kill the creator. Serena has only one creative outlet which is playing the piano and the piano she has now was a gift from Xander and she is immensely fond of it. Serena is enjoying her life and the games she gets to play with people of the world. However, she is becoming far too brave and risky….Who knows when the day will come when she is trapped in a metal cage like the beast that she is….
      The clouds above grew darker with the ending of another day. Behind them peeked the last rays of winter sunlight that did nothing to warm the soul. The snow that covered the ground in an endless blanket seemed to sparkle like the dust of a diamond had been scattered by generous hands. Nearby a group of children were being shepherded out of a park, their cheeks reddened by the bitter bite of the cold. Despite their numb hands and noses they all continued to smile and giggle like this had been the greatest day ever. The adults, while being attentive, carried on speaking in low hushed voices. No doubt they were gossiping about ‘Mrs. So and So’ from ‘you know where’ doing the dirty with ‘Mrs. Pure’s husband’. “Ah…So noisy…” Most would see this image as something of beauty; a sight that one would feel the need to stand still and soak in. The darkened silhouettes, the laughter, the snow! Oh the snow and its way of purifying everything in white! But…Serena, well…she wasn't most people.
      “That sound ruins my appetite…Would you not agree, Mr. Carter?” The white haired female smiled deviously as she raised a glass of champagne to her pink lips. The man opposite from where she sat chuckled for a few beats before mimicking his female companion in drinking. The lines of age and wisdom lined the man’s facial features. He was in his late 40’s, 20 years Serena’s senior, but it didn't stop the albino female leaning across and placing a small chaste kiss on his lips. “Let’s get out of here…I am in the mood for some warmth after spending this last hour outside drinking champagne…” Her silver eyes sparkled along with the flickering candle light that shone from the center of their table. When her date had suggested dining alfresco in this weather, Serena had been skeptical. However, now her mind had been changed, this had not been so bad after all.
      The couple walked together hand in hand talking about past adventures and swapping business ideas. As they reach their destination, a high class hotel, Mr. Finnegan Carter pulled out his wallet and strolled towards the front desk, while Serena took the moment to sit down on a plush sofa in the waiting area. Finnegan had not stopped smiling once today. He had stressed to Serena earlier how he wanted to make their relationship known to the world. Naturally, Serena had agreed to this and he had morphed into an even happier being….If that was even possible. “Such an idiotic man…”Hidden behind her long tresses of white hair, Serena smirked revealing sharpened canine teeth. Her once silver eyes were replaced with bloody red ones that held a type of emotion not known to man. She was letting Mr. Carter enjoy himself for one reason. That reason was simple enough; soon he will be dead. He was her next target and boy had he been easy to lure in.
      “Serena? Are you ready?”
      “For you dear…I am always ready~” Serena smiled brightly up at the man as she accepted his hand and stood up. “Tonight we celebrate the ending of our old lives~” She kissed his cheek fondly, her eyes flashing from silver to red and back again. It had been a while since she last indulged a human for such a long period of time. Alas, all things must end and this contract was worth 2million bucks in cold hard cash. She had plans for that money and they didn't involve poor Mr. Carter. As the kindly older male unlocked the door, Serena’s ugly demonic blood stirred restlessly…The door had barely opened an inch before Serena had tackled Finnegan into the room....Mouth open, a snarl escaping her lips….a muffled scream…then silence….Silence always followed Serena…waiting behind the aura of death like a shadow.
      Tsunami would stay with him as he took to the alleyways, taking to her flight capability as she did so... her remote weapons switched their strategy and would wait until he got into an open area before assaulting him with their blades again... they wouldn't risk firing their buster rifles as there was a high chance of hitting her with the heat-field around the actual beam.. she started locking on to the Wolf-Ancestor's arm that was holding the person, calculating exactly how to take out his arm without hitting the person with one of her beam smgs...she would be near impossible to escape from as her other half had locked on and was tracking him
      --
      "Kyr--" she started say as she heard the phone ringing and saw the little one going back in to answer it... she started to turn her head to where she could watch the dog and the strange creature playing then suddenly fell over with a soft groan and a flop against the ground... she had used her power again when she still had not fully recovered from using that powerful blast that had destroyed the corrupt Wolf-Ancestor that had attacked her..
