It is Requested that you clearly state 'PoM'/Poem of the month in the title of the PM just to make it easier to find.

Poem of the Month!
This Month's Theme is: Halloween Horrors, Nightmares, Screams, and Tricksters or Treaters
Ghosts and ghouls, goblins and gremlins, witches and warlocks stirring strange smelling brews, and zombies hunting kiddies on All Hallows Eve outside of school. A smorgasboard of horror, short and tall, for old biddies and wee little tikes, something to make them scream in the night with fright or keel over and die from fear. I'm looking for the stuff of nightmares, ghost stories tat raise goose bumps, and makes your blood stop cold on a breezy autumn night. Writers, poets, artists: come one and all as we usher in a new PoM that'll hopefully scare some socks off.
Deadline is November 3rd or 4th EST
Voting starts November 4th and lasts until November 11th when the next PoM goes up

Dos & Don'ts
Do make entries that fit the theme
Don't post pieces previously posted/submitted in L&W
Do follow AL rules
Don't worry about length.

So more ALers can become involved with Poem of the Month, we've decided that from here on out, that we will accept Signatures and banners from those inclined towards the visual arts. (Side note: Please make sure your entries fit the current theme of the Month you're participating in. And to avoid clutter please pm your entries to me.)

Slightly Awesome Changes You Guys Have to Know About

- credit amount has increased for everyone (except first place)
- Multiple theme/a super flexible theme will be unique to this PoM (not sure about future PoMs)
- The addition of an art component (will be around for future PoMs hopefully)

The epic tennis match is still on BUT I have finished editing this and we're ready to roll

That's the wordiest theme and tagline i could come up with to describe all the possible things you could write about

I am hoping for so much awesome to come of this.

This morning, I rant out and bought a crapton of coffee, sugar, creme, applejacks cereal, and a new fleece blanket to curl up under when i read these.

But honestly half of this month's theme/tagline would not have been possible were it not for Shadow

And yes Darksabre, try your hand at this. At the very least watch what unfolds.

Part II of this month's PoM is going to be kill for. Almost literally.

I stand corrected. All the wonderful things about this PoM are courtesy of moi. Except the word 'halloween,' the fun and inventive word created by Shadow.
