Best Alcon Ever! A massive thanks to all of you!

The chanting of "BEST ALCON EVER" on Sunday pretty much says it all. I would like to give a massive thank you to all of you, from the attendees, to the crew, the performers, exhibitors and very kind sponsors. Including on the doors, we had 1,040 people attending, easily thrashing the 800 or so who came last time. The atmosphere was amazing, and all of you played a part in making it so.

It's been five years of Alcon now, the event last weekend was so so close to the kind of event that I have always wished it to be, so really - thank you so much. All of you.

We'll get the dates for Alcon 2013 arranged as soon as we can, but please do check out and register for London Anime Con on 11-12 February ( http://www.londonanimecon.com ) and London Gaming Con on 4-5 May 2013 ( http://www.londongamingcon.com ) in the meantime.

I'm now off to continue working on takedown and cleanup, but once more - a massive thanks to you all. This year was quite special and I look forward to many more years of this with you all!

it was the 6th, but it was only a year between the first and 2nd Alcon, and likewise, it has been 5 years between the 1st and the 6th.

This was my first proper overnight convention (JCon doesn't count). And it was bloody FANTASTIC. Everyone was awesome, it was always nice having a chat with people I've never met before without them thinking I'm a bit weird. Thanks very much, guys. Loved it. WILL be coming to 2013, might bring my fiancé along...

Big thanks to all the people who made this years Alcon possible, I had an awesome time! Definitely the best weekend I've had in a long time and considering I've been backpacking around the world for the 4 months prior, that's quite a feat.

I met tons of great people, all of the guests was awesome/hilarious, I tried my hand at cosplay for the first time, the parties were epic and I learned about the greatness of Kyle Hebert and of course about Gangnam Style!!

It's more like AT LEAST 5 more years because of it being 5 years old now it means it'd be double it's age then but yeah I agree 100 MORE YEARS!

@GazzyInferno Oh no not at all!! I was just like "OH! They left their stuff behind...." when i got back to the dorm XD And when I was tidying up, I wasn't quite sure what to do with it.
