With SummerSlam just 8 days away, I thought that us wrestling fans could have a run upto thread about SummerSlam. Here i'll post some SummerSlam facts and post videos of previous SummerSlam matches for you guys, On top of that we'll discuss who should be on the ppv card and who isn't. As far as i know the ADR vs Sheamus match is off (this is a crappy story plot) so i'll update you after Raw so this upcoming Tuesday. Also i'll update the poll after Monday's Raw no doubt there will be some late additions to the finished SummerSlam ppv card.
I'm expecting Ziggler and Jericho to steal the show. Though D.Bryan vs Kane could be an unexpected treat. Also Sandow and Clay have apparently been getting good reviews for their house show matches.

I heard they are scrapping the 'funkasuarus' gimmick, So Clay will be reverting into a bad ass again. Ziggler-Jericho will be awesome, it's also Jericho's 'last' ppv for a while. I have hunch that Wade Barrett could be placed in the WHC title match, If not him then Randy Orton. Ain't no way in hell I'm watching this! Dolph and Jericho could be interesting but yeah that's about it. Completely lost interest in Lesnar now, but that's a hilarious photo of him. I will however be watching Hardcore Justice. Looking forward to the matches there. TNA! TNA! TNA!

with Miz vs Mysterio, I can't see Rey winning the IC title since Miz just returned and won the title from Christian. To be honest, I was quite expecting Christian to invoke his rematch clause at Summerslam.
Christian has already had his rematch on Smackdown following the Raw he lost it on. I had a feeling WWE were banking on Santino defending that night, Especially since Miz is on the Raw roster and Christian Smackdown.
yea. They need to get the friggin belt of Santino. The title is being more and more degraded towards people who held the title with honor like Stunning Steve Austin, Rick Rude, Sting, Kurt Angle, Edge, Rhino, Tajiri, Eddie Guerrero (think he held the US title in WCW as well as holding the title in WWE), Ric Flair, Rick Steamboat, John Cena, Chris Benoit (I know, but he was a good athlete), Booker T, Dusty Rhodes, DDP, Goldberg and others, so I kinda expect Cesareo to win the title.
The US title shouldn't be on someone like Santino who is a midcard comedy act. He's gimmack has really phased out over the years. If they repacked him and turned him heel, then maybe people might start taking him seriously, but doubt it. I think they should put the title on Cody Rhodes, since he's not doing anything right now. I hope he gets a main event push somewhere down the line.
