It seems to be working fine for me at the moment but I'm using wifi so I can't comment on speed. Chat only seems to force load on the index page. The smallness of each of the pages was enough to give me a migraine, so... bleh. Also, will the other skins be made mobile so I don't have to select Dusty Momentum [no chat] when I go to every page? =o Oh iPhone 4s

Everything is super tiny on my phone and I have to zoom in on every page and turn my phone horizontally just to read posts and I still have to scroll across to read them. Personally I preferred the old version as it allowed me to skip to the desktop if I needed to see who was online and whilst I appreciate that this version lets me do more, it's a pain having to increase the size of the site just to read things. It works but I hate it I actually liked the old one, it was simple and did what I needed it to - show me threads The avatars and other stuff take for ever to load and use up more of my internet allowance to load. Issues with size as I have to zoom in every time I change page. Also the blue background is all fuzzy on my phone as my phone doesn't like to handle large graphics. HTC Wildfire
Like everyone else is saying: page size is small and since there's more to load it's a lot slower. Other than that, it's working. iPhone

Is there anyway to do what other mobile sites do and have a feature where it defaults to the mobile version and then at the bottom of the page it has a link to go to the desktop site. There did used to be one before on the mobile site but it never worked. I personally don't like having to zoom in all the time to read stuff, and it doesn't fit neatly in the screen of the window like it did before. So to read a post I have to keep moving the screen from left to right to see who's posted and what they've put. Having said that though, sometimes I do need to access the desktop site to do things the mobile site can't handle. So personally I'd vote for having the option of both the old mobile version and this new version. Unless you can figure out a way to streamline the new look.
That seems fair, because the old mobile version worked really well on my BB Bold, and loaded like a dream. I mean, I can understand having a mobile version with more stuff on it for people with wifi Ipads or whatever (jealous of yoooou), but my phone just hates the mobile version we have now.
Okay, due to feedback received we've decided to suspend work on the current mobile skin and get it working better before releasing it. We're also looking into other options too. Hopefully next release will be better.

i use my ipod mostly and it seems to only come up with the desktop version recently, is there a different address for the new mobile version?

To be honest, I still stand by what I said AGES ago. Keep the old AL mobile skin as it was simple and easy/quick to load but add a link simplified version of the main desktop site (like the one now testing) so people have a choice depending on their device.
