THE MENTALITY OF THE MOB

"We are legion for we are many
Open invite, available to any."

"We stand together and shout out loud
For we are each like sheep and follow the crowd."

"Don't leave me behind away from the group
Let me follow and be a part of your troop."

"One group mind like bees in a hive
We think as one to feel alive."

"Our orders in a whisper, reach our ear
To disobey… of the consequence, we fear."




"What actions we do whether morally unjust
It matters to me not… in the legion we trust."

"For all the tribes, the groups, the mobs all speak a word
Everyone who is a part, all belong to the herd."

In a passing of a second in the dead of the night, the legion emerges with heart intent to fight.

The foe is a group, a group with a thought, a thought of which does not align, does not align with legion.
All minds focus; focus on the plan, for all within the legion, all woman, child or man. The order passed is a whisper, which everyone has heard.

Everyone obey who is part of the herd.


To think: to speak, outside of the group. To step: away, to leave the troop.
To step away, away from herd, to not listen, not listen to the word, of which was gained within a whisper, a whisper to my ear, to not pay attention, attention to my fear, to turn down the invite available to any.

I remember they are legion & they are many…

RHAPSODY OF VICE

As we gaze into the nothingness of space

Deep within our mind a darkness creeps over like a shadow

Prowling our thoughts like a lion

Sniffing

Clawing

Creeping

Waiting to pounce

A chill looms over

Blanketing my frail body

As the darkness takes hold like a vice grips iron

Images project within my inner eye

Of torture, Rapture and Vice

Over and over

A dark and twisted Rhapsody takes flight

"Thy kingdom come"

"Thy will be done"

An echo whispers into the distant realm of conscious thought

Pleasure

Anger

Anxiety

Drowning my spirit in a sea of corruption

Violating

Vandalizing

Ripping mercilessly into my soul

Unaware

Lured into the shadow by the pleasure of Sin

Divulging in all manner of carnal act

As the pleasure saps

Anger strikes red like iron in the fire

Fists clenching as the blood boils

Wandering the streets like a lion

Searching

Creeping

For a helpless victim can be found

Within my mind

As within my head the walls stand erect

No questions asked

A new day is dawned and the shadow looms over my slumber

As though a cold arm grips my arm

I walk

Like a puppet on a string within my sleep

To an open window

Standing in the vandalized wreck of the world I hath created in my mind

I fall

For a lifetime within a second

The walls come crumbling down

My eyes open

Falling and falling

To my death
