forum noob.... kinda

HEY EVERYONE!
Gotta be honest i only joined al to keep up to date with alcon updates and the like and i have attended the convention for the last 3 years! hence the 8 posts in the last 2 1/2 years. so feeling a little sheepish. but i have never really gotten involed with the forums before as i dont really think its my kinda thing (or never has been before)... but since graduating from uni and losing my weekly discussions about anime, manga and gaming at anime soc, i feel i may be missing out on something here... after moving back to leicester i have very few local fellow anime lovers and wanna meet more people who share the same passion as me! So technically i am a forum noob... lets see if chatting to you lovely people here can fill the void my uni life left behind and maybe get me more involved in the alcon i love to much and other anime goings-on....

Really, I recommend you visit MEC - Meetups, Events and Cosplay. There are plenty of members in your area who would likely be going to Meetups organized by the moderators of various locations in the world, main the UK atm. You can probably attend one in Leicester.

Also, visit Anime & Manga, as that is the Online Anime & Manga Social discussion section. Of course you can also discuss the in creation mangas in Manga & Comic Artists. Or create/read FanFictions in Literature & Writing.

But if you really want to make friends, all sections are a great way to broaden your horizons. There is even a game section, "Video Gaming".
