So I came across this Manga Series that reminds me of death note. but its more bad Ass. Akumetsu. while Kira in death note went after convicted Criminals. Akumetsu goes after harder to deal with criminal scum. corrupt politicians and bankers and such. He does it in such a flashy kick ass way too. That being said Akumetsu was out before death note. so the comparison should be death note is like Akumetsu. Akumetsu Also has more chapters then death note. Personally I think this manga is far better then death note. the guy actually has to justify his assassinations. not just "oh they are criminals" and unlike Light who gets corrupted and will take out anyone in his way. Akumetsu ONLY kills the evil. One Target. One Kill. Far better then Light's corrupt approach. now that I think about it. Akumetsu would probably hunt down Light heh. Anyway I wondering what other people think of this manga. and if you haven't read it yet to do so with post haste!.
Processing....
I've read Akumetsu a bunch of times (and got the first 3 volumes in french) but to be honest, Akumetsu is fundamentally different from Death Note. Death Note is a study in how power corrupts and Akumetsu is more of a heavy handed political satire. Not that Akumetsu is bad, I actually enjoyed it far more than Death Note.
i think mah boi is a pretty cool guy. eh wonders what gannons up to and doesn’t afraid of anything.
There are dozens of psychological manga/anime that are better than Death Note. They all also have far less annoying fans.
