I use an nVidia GeForce 480 card, and the game runs perfectly on max graphical settings. I think your card would run the game fine as well, so hopefully that helps you with figuring out your vid card needs.

I want to get back to playing Diablo 3 but the lag just really pisses me off. I really would like to see this ported to the XBox360 maybe supporting local co-op too.
I know it's been a while since I played a Diablo game but didn't the first 2/ 2 and a half have the option to play offline, thus saving you from lag? I'm not a fan that you HAVE to be online to play. Still a great game though.
This. Game. Is. Addicting. So far got a level 40 wizard, level 33 barbarian, level 31 witch doctor and a level 22 demon hunter. All on hardcore mode and I haven't died yet. When I do though back to level 1. Not sure if I could ever play softcore after playing the more suspenseful give yourself a heart attack hardcore mode.
I can't stand HC mode myself haha. I have a 53 Demon Hunter, and an alt of every other class, all of which around level 10

The lag is bad enough that the Kazra in Act III can juggle you across the entire fucking map, without you being able to respond at all. And I still havent figured out the differance between enemies with the teleporter subtype, and every other enemy in the game, which can also teleport, thanks to the server lag. I wouldnt want to deal with that on HC mode. Maybe when shit gets its act together.
Pretty much yea. There is HC, and then there is HC in online-only games that are subject to server lag. I'll stick with playing Hell and Inferno modes.
Nightmare mode is just basically the normal difficulty Not sure if you can play Hell from Level 30, but i know you can't with inferno...you want to be like level 60 or something i me And at least get some nice gear from Hell
Nightmare is minimum level 25 or 30 Hell is minimum level 50
Man, I feel spoiled. I haven't been affected by lag at all. My latency usually never goes above 125. And god damn, fuck Belial. Being one shotted at level 40 in Nightmare gets annoying after the first few tries.
i've only started a witch doctor so far, but are other characters more melee oriented (save barbarian, that class obviously is)? i don't want diablo 3 to be an ability-fest, as much fun as it is throwing out frogs and spiders and dogs
Monk is. And the game would be even more of an ability fest if you turn elective mode on
