I...don't see the big deal. He'd stated it back when he was a senator too. It's like everyone's amnesiac all of a sudden.
Also, Reno, what you find annoying is a stereotype, not an actual person.
Though understandably, there are people in the LGBT community who act the stereotype as a way of standing out. Unlike race, sexual preference isn't something you can tell right off the bat, and when people have been hiding it for so long and don't want to anymore, or want to be recognized by other LGBT people ad a peer, they tend to act out.
