JeeCay?: your sig is eye-catching, it has an amazing colour palette, and i love the smudging. The composition is really good as your focal as well. The background is simple and it complimets all the other elements in an excellent way. Great work!

Thanatos: I really like the style you used, the stock placemet and the focal are pretty good, the background is interesting as usual, and the lack of depth in this kind of sig is not a flaw in my opinion. those white lines are a nice touch. Now what i do not like much is the that the stock seems a bit blurred, and its colour is too orange and doesn't go well with the background. Other than that is a really nice piece!

JeeCay: I didn't really know what to make of it. D: It looks like you've placed a something and smudged it then added a border.
The smudging is alright, it probably needed a bit more spread/strength. sorry. :p

Than: The Render is such a bad cut. D: it kinda ruins the sig.
I love the background tbh, but the white inside the purple 'lights' distracts me.

JC: I think you have excellent smudging skills. You know how to do it well so that the image blends in with the background. That said, although the smudging is pretty okay, I am lost. I have no idea what your piece is about. I am literally lost. You do great things and this is not your best. I'm sorry.

Thanatos: The render is low quality. And I think I see small bits of black around it. Also, the colors of the stock are too matchy with the color of the background. I don't see how the white lines compliment the image. The background itself is rather nice though. But overall, it lacks cohesion.

I think I'll give my vote to Thanatos although I wasn't fond of either piece.

Jk: I have to really say, i simple adore this one. I still think you need to experiment with larger sizes from time to time. I think it would have added to this, if it was a ta bit larger. But I simple love the siggy. Its abstract and works together very well! Not something you see anyone use in GFX much. So this is a very positive point. The border also fits. Its nice to see you don't conform to the norm like most people. I think that's why I like it so much. How different you made your work compared to others. Props for you! But I am really admiring your smudge work here. Everything works to the focal with is amazing. Great job.

Thanatos: This is a interesting style. Not something often used that's for sure. But it looks kinda choppy, that kinda takes away. You can kinda blur over some of those jagged parts to cover them a bit. But very small light blurring. I think that would deff help. Aside from that though, the background is well done. But everything seems way to simple to me. Also I would have liked to see the render placed slightly more middle. But not directly in the middle, offset some. That being said, I am not to fond of this. I like your other works a lot more.

So, here's my vote:

GK: I really like this piece. It's smudge-tastic, and you've really been improving a lot in developing your own style. Love the color choice, too. I like that you decided not to add text; it's fine without it.

Thanatos: Also smudge-tastic with that background. You've been making these awesome backgrounds that I love. Also, I love how this one has a stock that matches the lighting and the colors! The lines I do not like, however.

The first thing I noticed was Vivix's signature and I thought it was an entry until I saw the Kathren quote in the sig and saw that Vivix wasn't part of the competition.

GK: I have no idea what I was looking at but it made me think of something dark and not particularly happy. That appealed to me. On the far right hand side that... circular-ish things. Looks like it could be th e head to a gundam or some other mobile suit. I don't know. I am fairly certain though that whatever this was before the smudging happened, it can easily pass for a city that was destroyed by some awful means.

Thana: There's a guy putting on a shirt. I'm not sure how I feel about this. The color of him is the same color as the background but somehow you can see where he ends and the background begins. I like that. I also liked the coloring. I liked the smudge effect too. It made it look.... imperfect. Dirty. Kinda like the Durex commercials from when I was younger. Although... Ok. I have found a bottle of the axe body wash spray my husband uses. On the back the motto is "The cleaner you are the dirtier you get". Combined with the guy putting on his shirt, and the smudges, it makes me think he had a really great night. So that's what I got from it.

I was torn. After much deliberating, I had to go with Thana with Jeecay as a close second.
But I do like the idea that there's a gundam in jeecay's sig.

Other:
It is possibly because I am tired and need more coffee but I wasn't super excited about either piece. I don't know why. I dug deep in the recesses of my mind for something to 'pull' me in. Not good. Sniff sniff.
On the other hand, I'm not one to judge these sorts of things because i know that any other time, I'd love to solve the mystery of what the heck I'm looking at and that for the most part, I'll always love thana's style. though i'm not sure why. I think it's because it has a 'worn, vintage' feel to it.
