Yeah, I play guitar, trumpet, french horn, blues harp (harmonica), and just the smallest bit of piano. Been a while since I've played the horns though.

Whelp another 8am to midnight day. Gonna go grab some coffee and head off to bed. Got some training to do in the morining and I need to clean my M9. I'll post a couple of pictures from my last mission when I get back to my living area. Tostones and gazpacho sound really good right now.

Whelp another 14 hour day. I'm starting to get settled on the idea of spending my first week of leave in Ireland/France and still spending my second week in Australia. So close yet so far. Also just found out that the French soldiers here apparently give out free cuban cigars on fridays here at their compound. I know where I'll be on friday .

37 more days till leave.

17 hour shift done. Time to grab some winks and do this crap again. Just spent the last 2 hours of my guard shift talking comics. Haven't done that in a while.

All sorts. I'm a marvel fan at the core but that doesn't mean I don't love things like watchmen, scott pilgrim, wanted, 100 bullets, and a whole myriad of other things.

Alrighty, i've got to say, about five months in out here in the sandbox and the sexual frustration is really starting to kick in. Plus these civilian contractors walking around in yoga pants because of the summer heat really isn't helping. Time for some RPing and sleep. Only an 11 hour day today so I actually get some good sleep.

Goodmorning from the desert. Was up till 2am doing laundry and smoking monte #2s. Feelin groggy and still smell like cigars. Well worth it though. Now off to work (and to sneak in a few CS posts).

Of course I don't mind you around, all are welcome. As a matter of fact I'd be happy if more people dropped in, especially from the RPing crowd
I like to think I like a pretty broad range of stuff. Particularly things with soul. Recent day's we've been getting into the triple digits. I don't think we'll get into the 120 range this year. (Here’s hoping)

I figure the freakout comes from hardly being able to breathe? We're kinda forced to get over it pretty quickly, first when they put us in the gas chamber where breathing without the mask is a metric crap ton harder than breathing with it, and second when they smoke you with the mask on. Eventually breathing with it on becomes pretty comfortable.

Whelp had a dream about my x-wife working out here in Afghanistan as a civilian contractor and us getting back together. Also had another reoccuring dream being the leader of a covert mission team except for this time when we took out two guards at a compound all hell broke loose which led to an international incident. I should lay off the Tarrazu for a while. May be going to Dublin for the first 4 days of my leave now. Still planning on swinging by France before I go off to Australia.

As for the gasmasks... I dun do small spaces... Specially on my face.

I see. hmmm well this is a long shot, but would you happen to know where is a good place to go in Dublin? How well do you do with sunglasses?

Sunglasses are fine... I just don't like things covering my head and my face. I was going to work in a correctional facility, and they made us put gas masks on, go into a small shed (another fear of mine), and tossed gas things in there. We had to go in two groups, and I was in the second group. I witnessed people coming out freaking out and throwing up. Well, let me back up. We practiced with them in the classroom and I was kind of okay with it. Then, we put them on once we reached the place we were going to have the training, and I started to hyperventilate. Then, as I was waiting, I started to freak out even more, and the guys I was with (I was the only girl) were trying to reassure me. By the time I stepped into the shed with them, I freaked out and they had to remove me first. D: I dun like 'em
