Oh my god. One of my best friends ever is in love with Terry Pratchett. This is the only thing he ever wants to talk about when the subject is books.

I used to read a new book every few days, i read quite quickly but now i'm only really reading when i'm on my lunch at work, so i'm getting like 40 minutes a day.

I used to do that when I worked at a grocery store. Last book I raced to complete was when I bought Inheritance.

I want the 5th book to the Dragon Kin Series but I don't have a job, so I'm waiting for that job and pay check so I can get it. Hopefully that will happen soon.

So for the past two days, well, most of the past two weeks, I've been working hard on a chapter 1 o a story (that may be short or may be long) and Zen's veyr belated birthday present that inspired awesome spam threads of orgasmic proportions.

An right now, I'm watching The Bubble Guppies and lurking ALJ for inspiration. Cause I need to figure out how to raise the dead in a manner such that the people of the living are greatly negatively impacted.

@Severine, i've read some Laurel K. Hamilton. Quite liked her Anita Blake series until it got to more sex and not enough story.

The Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series is one of two series she's been publishing for over a decade. The other is the Meredith chick one. I don't like Meredith.
I do like sex though. Although that's not the sole reason I read that series.


I used to have the ENTIRE babysitter's club series. Including the mysteries and super stories. And then one day, I realized I had to grow up and stop reading kids books. Do you know what happened to my collection? I packed it up in a box. I have no idea what the frack happened to that box. When that box disappeared so did my Nancy Drew collection.
I am convinced my stepmom stumbled across it and trashed it. Or my stepbrother tossed it to spite me.
