LAC5 Video Gaming Shrine - Rundown of events for VG

- All signups will be shown at the entrance to the venue by Registration over the two days.
- Most tournaments are free to enter and will give a prize.
- Most tournaments will actually be run behind the bar (In the back alley). If a tournament is to be run elsewhere, it will be noted on the sign-up sheet to avoid confusion.
- All tournaments allow you the option to bring your own controller if you wish.
- For tournaments which cost (This will be noted below), all cash is split in a 60-30-10 fashion for 1st-2nd-3rd.
- All signups open at 11am for every tournament at the start of each day.
- All tournaments will be run on a projector, with the exception of Goldeneye, unless it is possible.

Stakes Tournaments Saturday June 30th

1. Mortal Kombat - (£5 entry) - Starts 2pm. More details to be announced.
2. DDR Olympics - (£3 entry) - Starts 4pm. More details to be announced.

Stakes Tournaments Sunday July 1st

High Stakes! Entrant fees are all £5 per tournament. Money is pooled in to a big prize pool, and split 60-30-10 for 1st-2nd-3rd!

Name: Guitar Hero Tournament
Time: 5pm
Rules: Each player will compete in an attempt to get points by playing popular songs, as per the normal way of doing things. However, bonus points will be awarded for a variety of things that may occur during the rounds, decided by the crew member running things at the time (By a list, of course). The band with the highest overall score after three songs of their choice will be titled, "The Top Soloist".

Name: Retro Evening
Time: 8pm Onwards
Rules: Not specifically a tournament in its own right, we'll be making a party out of the consoles that we have available, with as many of the old "Classics" as we can muster. This will include Indy games (Because lets face it, they'll be awesome) and other awesome fun things!

Rules: Arcade characters (Meaning that you won't be using your own characters with your own epic lootz). Should we have enough time at the end, we could possibly run a Lv. 100 version afterwards. Knockout tournament!
Additional Information: Free Entry. Must bring your own copy of Dissidia and your own PSP to enter. If there is not enough interest, then it will have to be cancelled. Prizes TBA.

What controllers will be used for the Brawl tournament?

@Lucus : Normally, we allow either type of controller to be used. I find that most tend to use gamecube controllers, however. Hope that helps!

@cyber91 : Fifa. Now there is an idea, though I will be honest and say that I know next to nothing about that sort of game. As for Tetris and such things, I was going to include them in the Retro Party. Make things fun, y'know?

The problem I find with handhelds is the fact that they can go wandering off, so if we were going to run things like that, people would have to bring their own equipment, which I have actually found can be difficult to host. Though, if there is enough interest, we can certainly run things!
