As Vivix pointed out, this piece (http://i.imgur.com/TxSPx.png) and this piece (http://i.imgur.com/EjgR6.png) have the same thing in the background, and I would like very much to know what exactly that thing is. It's unusual looking but in a good way.

That's part of a wallpaper that I modified a bunch of times for those sigs to create a make-shift background for them. I have a bit of a habit with reusing old resources.

But yeah, thanks for the tips. I appreciate it and I'll get on that rematch eventually.

I think I'm all sig'd out for a week or two.

Pretty straightforward signature here. C4D, lighting effects, blending, adding/erasing gradients, color manipulation, erasing stuff i don't like, adding text, making it fit in yet stand out aaaaaaaand... sig.



The Saber one I worked with leaf brushes and since I don't think I've ever incorporated those into my sigs before, it was a bit of an experiment. I think it's slightly different than my usual stuff. I really wanted to have a soft light vibe to it with a very... natural setting, I guess. I know another weird habit of mine is overdoing the lightness in my sigs at times so I tried not to go overboard with this one.

Saber looks so refreshing and pretty. It is quite different than your usual stuff but it turned out very well. I think you really brought out her character in that piece. Gilgamesh just looks effing boss. Everything works perfectly. Again, I love the lighting. It highlights his smug personality. Don't get me wrong though, I like that. He's arrogant but he's the King of Kings so he doesn't have to take shit from anyone.

Anyhows, I wish to be Gilgamesh/Archer now.

The colors in the first one are fucking sex, but the perspective is off. It looks strange for the sig to be so clearly tilting on the top left and bottom right axis yet the stock is straight and flat. Does that make sense? The background itself is perfect though and really well-blended.

Second one I like a lot. The white vine brushes don't look quite right. Too big? I think it's that they're too big... or maybe going the wrong direction. Play with them a bit.

Uhhh it depends. Usually around 6-7 maybe more. I always lose track of which layer is for what though. :/

Wow six layers is good, i 'm impressed how this thread move fast, and i cannot even admire your work properly, i love it all, in any case.
About your sketches, i would like to tell you to pay more attention to eyes, sometimes they are too far from each other, and try to put more effort on facial expression, some sketches are good but not communicative if it makes sense.
The last one is the best, great body pose, expression and such, really good!

May i ask if in Lancer sig you used a clipping mask for some effects on his body?
