Baccano!

Recently I watch the entire series of baccano on netflix.
It's very good and an underrated anime.
I liked it for it's compelling story, vast amount of interesting characters and for it's great sense of humor.

I loved it as a series, worst thing, It was too short! Didnt get enough time to get to know all the characters. They could have done loads with it but as far as i can remember it was disapointingly early to conclude, though its been ages since i have watched it.

watched it on netflix as well. really liked it, but c'mon it was alchemy, immortality, prohibition, train heists ect. it's like they took every epic thing and put it into one anime.

aw yiss. an awesome series with such lively and colorful characters. It's got style and over the top action oozing out of it's pores. Whats not to love about this show.

I heard somewhere that Durarara had a lot of Baccano references.

Not sure how true this is but it makes me want to watch it nonetheless considering I quite liked Durarara.

The only bit of crossover I remember is that two characters from baccano (Isaac and Miria) appear in a few episodes of durarara. The shows are very similiar so you'll more than likely enjoy baccano if you choose to watch it.

I love Baccano because of the shows love and inspiration from classic mobster, crime, horror and as well for classic double act comedy movies.
All the characters have aspects from those those movies and are completely unequally original at the same time
The voice acting and soundtrack is top notch as well.
It's good that it's on netflix so more people can experience Baccano.
Sure it's a shame that's short but that I think that why is it's good.
It's make people want to watch it again for the moments they missed or didn't understand.

they get a couple of cameos yes But they don't have the same voice actors (in the dub at least)

Oh my god, this anime is just... epic, I agree with orange boy. I really enjoyed watching it and would watch it again ANYTIME.

As for it being short, yeah I agree with that too. Way too short.

the frustrating part is that theres alot of material for it via the novel's the originate from. They could make more...they just aren't for some reason.

I loved this series. It definitely doesn't have the recognition it should, but now I might actually have to watch Durarara just to see Miria and Isaac again XD
