      Wrath of the Immortals

Over the centuries Immortals warred with one another. Over time several types of immortals have appeared such as Werewolf’s, Vampires, warlocks, Gods and Goddesses, and reavers. Some Immortals can die and re-enter the world as new souls but have memories of their past lives. Some however, cannot die under any circumstance. A group of immortals guard and watch over humanity and help guide it along the path of time. One however, from this prestigious group strayed from them and their cause. He wonders the world alone seeking a purpose and a place to call home. He finds himself in a little town known as Rynheart; he now lives in peace here helping the townspeople daily. Over Time however, he realized he needed to hide who he was. Too many people and former enemies are looking for him. He spread rumors of his death and created a new identity for himself, the towns people knew who he was and concealed the secret from outsiders and patrons.

Now 15 Years later, This Immortal has a new name and it is Victor VanPelt. Victor runs a Local restaurant and pub. He hides his form as a normal looking human. His very short black hair no longer hides his blue eyes. He has a short scar on his left cheek he gained from a bar fight that he broke up a few weeks ago. He walked a few blocks from his cold one story home towards the tavern. Slowly he turns on the lights and sets up the tables. He stands behind the bar wiping down the counter, his waitresses and waiters slowly walk in. The cooks finally walk in and start prepping the kitchen, Victor watches the people moving inside the tavern.

      Re: Wrath of the Immortals

Click.....Click.....Click....Click.....the sound of her black stiletto hills pierced the quite atmosphere of the tavern. A tall woman walked in as if she owned the place, this was how she acted no matter where she went. Her crimson eyes swept the room, and settled on a face she knew. A smirk hinted on her blood red lips as she walked toward the bar, her silver hair trailing behind her. As she leaned on the bar she tapped her black nails on the counter. She was tall and slender, and as pail as death, she had on a black minnie skirt, and tank top. Sangai Tenma was her name, most knew her as Tenma.

"Oh bar teneder" she called, her voice was just as cold as it had ever been, but she had added a sickeningly sweet tone to it that would send chills down a humans spine.

      -----------------------------

Zero reluctantly trailed in behind Tenma, he wasn't sure why they where even here, the guy was perfectly functioning with the humans and they didn't suspect a thing. Or if they did, they didn't betray him and expose him for what he was. At any rate, Zero thought it pointless that he was even here. Zero, like Tenma, was tall and pail, his hair a silvery white and eyes of crimson. Unlike her he was dressed as though he was a business man, black suit and red tie.

Annoyed, Zero just followed Tenma to the counter and stood there while she did her thing. She always annoyed him, but what could he do? he was her commanding officer after all.

She sat in front of the vanity, pulling masses of blonde strands into a high pony, leaving a strait bang to cover her forehead before tying a head band at the crown. It was a baby blue color matching her wide eyes and accenting plump pink lips. Her make-up was light, just enough to accentuate her features. Within moments she was shimmying into a black v-neck tee dress, it was simple yet elegant, and tying on an apron. It was time to get to work.

Living two blocks from the location made it easy, the young blonde was able to walk there in the chilly air with little trouble. She entered, still early for her shift and gave a nod to her employer before setting about for opening.

Lindy Green had been working there several months now, paying her way through college and keeping herself busy. She respected her employer and made no mention of his personal business though she was terribly curious about it. A closed mouth was better than a gaping one though.

      Re: Wrath of the Immortals

Kitty, as everyone called her, walked into the building, her uniform different from others considering it had the added appeal of cat ears and tail. Kitty's hair was long and black, with green tips at the end. Her eyes matched her hair, mesmerizing all who saw them, well those that didn't work with her at least. Her body was feline like as well, though having a large bust, it still worked. Upon entering she waved to the boss enthusiastically, smiling and then turned to Lindy, who had gotten there just a few minutes before her.

"Good morning Lindy!! How was your day off yesterday? I know it must have been super exciting...." She then saw something out of the corner of her eye and decided to go after it. Kitty also had the attention span of a cat, anything shiny or stringy and she was bound to chase after it.

      Re: Wrath of the Immortals

"Hey dousche, wake up," the sharp voice demanded.

Robin Dalias stood over the snoring chef with her hands propped on her hips and a frown on her lips. Chin length, jet black strands were pulled back into a half up, messy knot on the back of her head and her full lips were pressed thin into a line of annoyance. She might have been half the height of her boss and the head chef, but she was most definitely a devil to mess with. She was too blunt with her opinions, and more often than not too mouthy- it was one of the main reasons she wasn't allowed to work the floor anymore too. She could work in two places behind the bar serving drinks, or back in the kitchen helping to prep the orders- the job she preferred.

Dressed in her usual casual clothes of a black tank top and tight jeans, the punkish nineteen year old narrowed her eyes a little more when the man in question gave no response. Her rubber booted foot then lifted causing the stained white apron she wore to flutter up in a surprisingly girl fashion, before it came down and hard on the chair. The sound of the chair clattering to the floor would echo out from the kitchen into the main room of the establishment- though at any other time it might have been drowned out by the music, conversation, or drunken celebration of whatever college team had one the game that week.

"H-Hey!" Andrew Barker laid sprawled on the floor next to the chair with a frown. Unlike his "assistant" as he came to call Robin, much to her discontent, Andrew as bright. Fire bright. From the bright orange, long hair that was pulled back into a low pony tail, to the matching white and orange sneakers on his feet. his personality was no better, at least in Robin's opinion. He was, in the end, the resident flirt and joker who was rarely taken seriously- something he was quite content with. The only thing that could be trusted, however, was his ability to cook. He was a prodigy at it and it was any wonder why he didn't choose to work in a more high end resturant, but there were a lot of things people did not know about him...such as the reason he always were sunglasses. "What the hell was that for!"

"I cleaned all the damn dishes, now get off your ass and start helping me prep," Robin grumbled. Neither of the two were morning persons but where Andy simply laid back and stole snoozes where he could, Robin was angry, hotty, and no nonesense until she got her coffee.

"Ah.. c'mon, five more minutes," he grumbled where he laid on the floor, unwilling to move.

"You said that five minutes ago." This time her foot met his rear and he whined a little moer before ventually pulling himself up. "...Geez.. aren't I suppose to be in charge of you."

      "Yeah. Right. Only on paper."

"Oh it was nothin' special, mostly just caught up on class work and cleaned. I guess I'm not used to having time off really. Probably shoulda had some fun huh?"

Lindy responded while marrying ketchup bottles with more speed and precision than most. She made quick work of filling shakers, setting extra napkins and coasters, and ensuring all the tables were wiped down. Move move move there was no stopping the girl. Next thing she was headed to the back to ensure garnishes were ready for the bar. Robin and Andrew were at each other already. She sighed lightly and walked up to the prep table.

"I think that 5 minutes was 10 wasn't it?" She smirked.

Victor started to wipe the glasses and watched the kitchen area throught the counter opening. He smiled seeing the argument and comments being made. He shook his head, he looks at the front door and sees Lindy walk in. "Morning Ma'am. How are you?" I asked softly. I watch kitty enter and chuckle at her chasing the object she saw, he liked kitty for many reasons but stayed away from her. After hearing, 'Oh Bartender' I turn to see Sangai Tenma and her pet Zero he wanted to sigh but didnt. I walk up to Sangai and wipe the glass still. "Yes Madam? May I help you?" I ask politely. He spotted another woman enter and stand by the bar, He waits to see what they wanted.

      Re: Wrath of the Immortals

"do you happen to have anything....other than..... 'regular' liqueur?" she smiled at him, her normal fanged grin. "and how are you doing," her eyes narrowed as she watched him "Victor". Tenma hated that name, and she spit it out as if it had a bad taste. She watched the other 'people' in the tavern wonder about doing their daily chores, she always thought it was wonderful how humans only existed in the here and now of things and hardly ever thought about their future. She could never understand why humans would rather help others then themselves.

She swept her long hair over her ear and returned her attention to 'Victor' as he now called himself. Tenma did not like to be kept waiting, and tapped her foot impatiently.

      ------------------------------------------------------------------

Zero watched the other people in the tavern. He settled his gaze on the spit fire girl in the kitchen who was arguing with the cook. He had not seen someone like her sense.... sense his venture in that thing they call a high school. He smiled to himself as he thought about it, and then became serious once more. He was always fooling himself with stupid notions.

He shifted his weight as he waited to Tenma to quit playing her stupid games, there was always a method to her madness, but Zero could never pin point what she was really doing. That and he really didnt care, he could do what he wished as long as he did what ever the council had charged him to do. Normally there was one task maybe once every 50 years or so, and they all involved Tenma who did most all the work anyway.

He heard Tenma call the man "Victor" which made Zero laugh, "Victor? really?" he chuckled. Zeros voice was surprisingly deep, he tried not to speak a lot with humans around unless he really had to, and he had an odd accent that seemed to be a mix of Transylvania and British.

      Re: Wrath of the Immortals

Both Robin and Andy glanced up at Lindy as she entered.

"Hey, now what is ithis, a tag team?" Andy pouted. He stood straight and grabbed the white chef's coat from the back of the chair and began to shrug it on. He did not even bother withthe hat that went with it, he never wore it- mostly because it always fell off when he glanced down at the stove or prep he was doing.

"Damn straight," Robin returned glumily. For a moment, Robin's dull brown eyes narrowed considerably at the chef and she contemplated punching him in the arm for good measure befure decided against it. So she turned her eyes to the small, narrow pick up window the looked out on the bar, and for a moment her attention was caught by the silvered hair man at the bar. Perhaps it was the hair color that caught her attention, or his pale skin, she couldn't be sure, but he did catch her eye for a few seconds and then lost it as he her focus drew back to Lindy. "As soon as Lunesta here gets up and going we'll have the garnishes ready for you."

"Beer nuts are already divided up though," Andy said in his defence as he motioned to the far end of the prep table where a tray filled with snack bowls was set. Each bowl was filled to the brim with said nuts. He adjusted his sunglasses, fixed the last few buttons of his coat, then rolled up his sleeves. "When your done setting those out, I'll be done with the garnishes. Promise." Andy grinned charmingly at Lindy and one could imagine he was winking behind those dark shades... and if he was, he was promptly stopped as Robin's heel came down on his foot.

      "Then get to work."

"Such a slave driver," he grumbled. " Are you sure Big. V. didn't hire you to be the bouncer?"

Robin made a face in return then grabbed a stack load of menu from one of the side tables. There was little she could do at the moment with garnishes, so she would set out the menus on the tables for now.

      Re: Wrath of the Immortals

Kitty suddenly looked up when she heard Lindy walk away, she followed her and watched silently as Andy put on his gear. She then looked around and slipped by Lindy to meet Robin face to face, then with a grin, she licked her left cheek. "You should be nicer to Andy.... Or like I said before, your going to get a good licking," Kitty said as she took the menus from her, "It's my turn to set these out." She quikly bounced away hurriedly setting out the menus one by one.

Kitty then looked at the woman and man at the counter. She didn't have a good feeling about them, especially with the way the woman said the bosses name.

Victor looked at Tenma, " I have all sorts of drinks. Which were you wanting Madam? I am doing well and yourself?" Victor wasn't pleased to have Tenma in his tavern. Victor did his best to not get upset at Zero, "That would be my name sir." I say as I look at him coldly. "Do you two have business here?" I ask sharply. I continue to wipe glasses as I wait for the two immortals to speak or give a request.

Several people enter the room and one was a well known demon. "So Victor. Has he shown up yet?" I look to him, "And who would that be Demoscus?" I ask. "You known damn well who I seek just tell me where he is and Ill leave." He demanded. "You must be brain dead. I keep telling you the only thing that remains of him is his bloody sword which stands in the square. If you cannot accept that then your in trouble." I boldly state. Demoscus grumbles and gets up. "One day...." he states as he shoves chairs over and leaves. "Good riddance...low class loser." I wisper to myself. I look over at kitty and smile, "Its ok Kitty." he said softly as I look back at tenma.

      Re: Wrath of the Immortals

Tenma smirked at the happenings of this little tavern and looked Victor in the eyes "Well, some whiskey of course, only... with a little pep in it" Her voice was as cold as it ever was as she spoke. "Also, Victor, your know my business here very well, and id rather not make a scene.... in-front of your..." she paused and looked around "employees " She spat the word. Tenma was known for being cruel, and she was very well known in the Coven for being extremely hateful of other "races" i guess you might call them.

She gave a sharp look at Zero for his blunder. One that would normally send a mortal running.

      _______________________________________

Zero caught the look and looked down at the ground as if he had just been scalded by his mother. 'damn' why did she get to have all the fun?
"sorry sir, the name... caught me by surprise" the English accent came out a bit more now that he knew he was in trouble.

He turned his attention to Tenma "Maam, shall we have a seat while Victor here gets your drink?" He spoke to Tenma as if she were a god of sorts.

"It wouldn't be any fun if she was civil to him," Lindy chuckled as she exited with the nuts. She passed by the customers with a courteous greeting as she laid everything out in an almost perfect manner. Even, that was how she liked it. Minutes later she returned to the kitchen grinning.

"What do you think the turn-out will be tonight? Interesting character wise?"

This was a question Lindy posed often to get guesses on what sort of folk they would be serving that day. It made her job more interesting and was always a decent conversation starter for the 'normal' girl.

After Kitty was done laying out the menus, she came back in hearing Lindy's question. She pondered for a second, "I think it will be a full house, but as for the people, we are gonna get a lot of my fans, nyan." She makes a cat paw and moves it like a cat would in that situation. "Well folks, its about time the mid-morning rush starts so, take your places!! I got welcoming stand today!!"
