Hey I'm new to the site and it'll be my first year at Alcon this year. I've been recommended this event by a friend and it sounds frickin amazing! I'm thinking about going as an assassin from Assassins Creed but I wanna know what you all dressed as for previous years and what you might wanna go as for this year!

I went last year but didn't cosplay because of lack of funds, but for my first time I plan on cosplaying Yuffie from FFVII. I'll be doing her Kingdom Hearts 2 outfit :3

Yuffie without materia... is crazyyy , im sure you could prob find existing crystal which looks simular to it or ways to make one, umm since shiny i can only think of plastic or glass and paint it shiny (prob more materials out there im kinda new to props myself).

But yes i shall want pic either wayyyy yuffie is awesomeee, if no materia then weapon ?= easily done with cardboard/foam/or wood if talented.

P.s in reply to topic i already said my cosplay in cosplay group topic= Shu/Guilty Crown (newest), and may bring a existing cosplay too not sure yet between loke/zexion/frau/akito.

Btw Assassins Creed, there was a talk between crew once about it being a clan for alcon like vampires/ninjas/pirates, not sure if ever happen but could be something future wise , i do know 1 or 2 ppl were thinking of doing a cosplay for this alcon though.

If I do it at Amecon, I'll be whizzing around Alcon as Sora Takeuchi from Air Gear, most likely the Sleeping Forest outfit.

I'd love to wear the more cumbersome cosplays I have planned, like the White Tiger Zord from MMPR, but it tends to be a little difficult to be mobile while wearing them.

Do cosplayers use the same custume all weekend, or 1 a day - funds permitting

It depends entirely on the costume. Full body costumes could easily be used more than once, as they are less likely to become wrinkled and crappy from one wear, where as clothes won't look as crisp the second time you put them on....and may smell a bit

Well not really it be fine if not that hot, or wear clothes under the cosplay that way less chance sweaty onto the actual cosplay.
Usually when i do cosplay thats the same for both days, i usually wash it when get home but for alconnn umm may bring 2 cosplays and a cosplay should be fine for 2 days esp if not full day-till night.

Orrr some cases lol i know a few cosplay mates which has double copies of there cosplay :p since kinda easily made (but doubt this happens very often).

Umm Alcon is 4 days i prob do shu for 2 days since my best cosplay, and think off other 2 days with cosplay i already got/exists

P.S MOG!!! :p im buying this just for the awesomeness <.< im not doing ff cosplay but yayy materia <3 though i want red or blue.
