EZ’s MOVIE DAY!

Welcome to EZ’s Movie Day Event! The idea is simple: a day (12 hours) of movies for everyone to enjoy!

Date and Time?

It starts at 3PM on Saturday 31st March, going on until after 3AM on 1st April (times are in BST which is GMT+1).

Which Movies?

We can watch anything that I am able to acquire beforehand. Please make suggestions in this thread, and I will try to get it! The earlier you ask, the more chance there is of it being shown. Please be aware that the highest age rating that we can watch is a 15, so I can't show anything above that. Also, please stick to western movies (so no anime).

How Will We Watch Them?

I will post a link to a stream. All you need is a web browser that uses flash and javascript. There is a built-in (text) chat as well, so we can talk while watching.

3:00PM - 4:30PM : Holy Grail
4:45PM - 6:45PM : Serenity
7:00PM - 8:40PM : Muppet Treasure Island
9:00PM - 10:45PM : Ghostbusters
11:00PM - 12:45AM : Robin Hood: Men in Tights
1:00AM - 2:40AM : Judge Dredd
3:00AM - 4:40AM : Big Trouble in Little China

What happens to the Movie Club afterwards?

If this is a success, then we will resume the EZ Movie Club where we show 1 movie every two weeks. Please post here if you are interested in joining, and I can send you more information about it when I'm organising it!

I decided to do several movies and a long 12 hour thing (and have it 3PM-3AM) so that hopefully you guys from the states can join in too with your time difference

Also, I'm not sure I'll be able to be there for much of this. My sister is going to America for 3 months on the monday, so I imagine we'll be doing a lot of stuff that weekend

But I shall try and catch some of it

Awesome flux and scott, the idea is pop on whenever you can that day

And limitations, pretty much as taz says...

1. No anime
2. Age rating is 15 max
3. 12 hours total time, so don't ask for a million movies
4. I need to be able to source the movies before the day and i'd prefer not to use torrents if posible, so stuff released in the UK would be nice

I'll stick the life of brian and the holy grail on my requested list

You know what I think fits in 12 hours? Extended LOTR Marathon

But I would not suggest that as I'm not exactly a fan of them
