Goodbye concsciousness See that in the morning
Cruising iTunes and discovered the comedy section. I have just finished the Patton Oswalt previews for the albums I haven't gotten and am now looking at the Louis C. K. previews.
foobar2000 foo'.
Hm?
Foobar2000 is an iTunes-like, lightweight music player for Windows. iTunes on Windows is a lumbering beast. It works best on the Mac. BTW, I'm loving the new VLC 2.0. Now I can play all of my fansubs on Mac OS X. OH, yeah, I'm a Mac User full time now.
This is great. I have got to get this album. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z9wf3mxRL5o

Opps, wrong media player. I was thinking of SongBird. Foobar2000 is lightweight, but its butt ugly IMHO.
It's only "butt ugly" if you just leave it how it is and don't do anything with it. But if you want to make it a bloated, pretty player, you can do that too. Just look through this list of examples: http://techsplurge.com/3316/15-foobar2000-skins-themes/ This is an old W.I.P. shot of what mine was like, before my hard drive died: http://i.imgur.com/LJbsE.png But something that merely just plays music has no reason to be anything other than functional, and fb2k is by far the most advanced, and light-weight, music player out there. It just isn't bloat-ware by default like other players. But if you're not a huge musicfag then you have no reason to care about fb2k I guess.
iTunes behaves better on the Mac, I've found. All of Apple's software for Windows has major performance issues. I forgot Foobar2k was skinnable. VLC is too, but the new default one is pretty nice. Back in the day I used to use Winamp. Now its bloatware.
