Just finished watching steins gate, really is a awesome series and i would reccommend it to anyone! As long as your not easily confused its pretty easy to follow. For anyone that doesnt know about it the general plot is: "Steins;Gate is about a group of friends who have customized their microwave into a device that can send text messages to the past. As they perform different experiments, an organization named SERN, who has been doing their own research on time travel, tracks them down and now the characters have to find a way to avoid being captured by them." The plot has many unexspected turns and finally finishes where you would have not exspected it to. Its a really unique take on time travel. It truely is one of the best Anime iv watched. Anyone else seen it and what were your thoughts?

My thought at the end: brilliant. I think this is just a brilliant series. It makes it all the more enjoyable when it connects real-life aspect like CERN and the whole John Titor incident a few years back. The characters were all fun and charming. Kurisu x Okabe 4EVAR <3

I actually watched the first episode after reading this and couldn't help but laugh through most of it, "Alpaca-man!", but it still had a serious air which kept me interested enough to continue watching the following episodes.

I love this show. It was nearly perfect in my eyes. The character development was pretty good. You learn about each character over time, maybe not as much as some may like but it is executed nicely as it never really branches off the main story. I loved Okabe's character and his development especially. The pacing was very good, nearly everything was important to the plot and there never seemed to be a rush. The plot was absolutely awesome. The ending was brilliant and it was good that it wasn't a sad ending... Otherwise I would have gone crazy xD. The only bad thing I can think off is the "arc" where Okabe was trying to cancel the d-mails. I didn't really like how it slowed the plot a bit after the chaos with Mayuri. That's a really small minus to be honest, just what I can remember when I was watching the series. NOW FOR THE MOVIE!!!
It's related to Chaos Head right? Would you recommend watching that first?

I was trying to think of faults for this series, but i just cant really find any! Maybe the OST isnt the best in the world but that is such a minor critisism.
really enjoyed this show when i watched it solid characters, a decent number of plot points with an interlocking plot that didn't leave too many plotholes as well as a decent soundtrack. hard to remember a show with such an enjoyable protagonist I AM MAD SCIENTIST. IT'S SO COOL! SON OF A BITCH

Steins Gate was a interesting anime I really liked it! I love how the plot played out with some funny outburst's and twisted and turns. I would reccommend it also if you a fan of Sci-Fi anime, or just want to watch something different, then it's a perfect choice!
Very intreging series, but more could have been done to establish real differences between the universes. Other than that, was a good run and didn't strain the main premise too much. Good series.
On a mission for anime and manga
it is damn good, and here i thought new anime was starting to suck, this comes in and blows my mind! reccomend to anyone who watches anime there is so much to love the story the characters the um.....but he's a guy! time travel! the heartbreak geez there is so much
