Some great tips! ^___^ It'll be my first con ever in September, so I'm seriously excited. I actually go to university at De Montfort, so I spent my first year at Bede Hall xD;; I'm sad I wont be there again - since I actually live in a rented house in Leicester now I'm staying there instead. Saving money and I get to have all my own home comforts!

I love bede. The beds suck and its freezing...but the kitchens are good! :L

As is the Quad, and the balconies, god Alcon 10 was good having about 7 of use crammed onto the balcony smoking through straws xD

You know you can always speak to Mao/whoever does night accomm - they are there to deal with issues at accomm... And if it turns out it wasn't working, if we know before 4.30pm Friday, when the uni staff clock off for the weekend, there is a chance of getting things fixed...

ah i dont mind if its cold i'll just take a blanket and a pillow with me anyways but i nice kitchen would be awesome and heating would be a bonus anyways xD bede hall sounds fun and smoking through straws wtf O_O
