I would have also liked to have competed in an amv contest, I did see it was on when I first registered as an artist but later on it disapeared and it was partilly the reason why I go to anime cons. Though if you did have one you sould limit all entries to being created on a windows movie maker as it isnt fir that some people can afford to get fancy editing programmes and others cannot. I have seen an issue with people giving points way for effects over editing in the past.

I had two amvs ready to go but will now have to wait until the summer to see them on the big screen.

sadly this comes down to entries. every event we try to run an amv contest but rarely get more than 3 entries.... defeating the purpose of a competition. so ut ends up being removed.

if you are doing the baka no gameshow again and if you are going to make people eat wasabi again you should make them eat a couple of spoons because when i held it in my mouth it started to lose its hotness over time, another why you could do this is water it down a bit to make it a bit liquidy and make them swosh it round there mouth for a certain amount of time.

With the dub that anime you should make it so that everyone does the same clip or have clips which are the same length to make it fairer on the people taking part

guest wise it was alright, i hope that you are able to get area 11 and megabyte again and if you can some anime abridgers like you have done in the past

Anyone read this? the Journalist for Vice magazine? thought it was a complete nonsensical article and he more or less twisted all of mine and Dan's words lol, I don't remember saying half of what he's put, and he got our Jobs Mixed up, I'm the Aerospace engineer and Dan is the Lawyer, not that that's as bad as the rest:

Sam here (name change mofo). That guy was a dick, and most of it was ridiculous. He could've written about how great cons are, and how people who can't normally express themselves well can act and dress however they want, whilst being accepted by a community and getting drunk :@

thanks for the feedback for the Obaka No Gameshow, we were contemplating making people actually eat the wasabi and whatnot we had, but we were afraid it might actually make people ill as it can be quite harsh on the stomach and no-one had obviously been warned of this before entering. We're going to have some consent forms next time so people know what to expect and also won't blame us for having upset stomachs afterwards once the consent forms are signed, THEN you'll see trouble!

We're certainly not happy over the article, and they are not welcome back as press at our events following it. We shall also be reviewing how we handle press in the future. As LAC gets more well-known, this is undoubtedly not the last time this will risk happening and we will do our best to protect our attendees.

Well you know where to come for ideas. I may bring some stuff back from the US for the ALcon one.....and Lise..consent forms are a great idea lol. I'm just disappointed we've only ever managed to make one person vomit so far. MUST TRY HARDER!
