Nice way of providing imagery for a whole day cycle in a Haiku... I wish I could do it, But I'm sure I'd likely fail. xP

However, it seems your piece did make me first consider a shadow... but then it dawned on me that light receding isn't where a shadow comes into play in terms of an already present darkness. xD

XXD I thought I should have just asked "What am I?" at the end of this and gave it the name "Riddle number 1". XXD It sure sounds somewhat like a riddle.

You know. This was interesting in a "i love a mystery/what the fuck am I reading" kind of way.
I didn't understand the title until after I read the haiku. It was like a mystery you solved for me. That aside I liked your word choice. I'm not sure how I feel about the imagery since you're describing the action/role of a window. Windows are pretty boring but this piece isn't.

Nothing, I thought of the haiku first and thought it sounds riddle like, I then spent half an hour solving it and coming to the conclusion; window.
