Use this topic to -
1. Find 10 Quick Steps on Getting Involved.
2. Signup for Guardians who will show (or reshow) you the ropes!
3. Claim 1,000 credits if you're returning to AL after a 3 month or more period of being gone.
4. Claim your Birthday credits if they haven't been given to you.

10 Quick Steps on Getting Involved
#1. Get a Guardian to show you the ropes! Signups are in this very topic! (Just scroll down)
#2. How To Guide! Pretty much EVERYTHING you need to know about the forums and how to use them (though not strictly a necessary read)! A good one to sit down and read if you're bored and have a spare hour. That's Here
#3. Make a topic in The Entrance Hall Forum Introducing yourself here
#4. Want to change your username to something different? You can do that via the shop (just click the shop link). Every new member gets 500 credits which is enough for one username change.
#5. Customize your profile and add a signature/avatar by clicking "Edit Profile" at the top right. You can find more details on editing your signature in the How to Guide mentioned in #2.
#6. Make an AL Journal, your own little section of AL!
#7. Join a social group or a clan! See that link at the top entitled "clans"? Click it and check out the social groups and clans we have! You can join as many social groups as you like, and up to two clans. Don't find something you fancy? Go make your OWN social group in a few seconds via the social group link! Quick and easy, every member is allowed to make their own social group on AL!
#8. Check out our real life meets and events. We regularly hold meets and events. Why not check out the meetups, events and clubs area (located here)? Or our convention forums (located here)?
#9. Join the discussions in the rest of the forums! We have a discussion area for everything, from general, to crazy, to spam, to art, to entertainment, to anime (gasp!) to video gaming, to roleplaying and more! Come join in, we don't bite!
#10. Keep up to date! Got twitter? Follow us on http://www.twitter.com/animeleague for regular updates of what Animeleague and our events are up to!
Get Your Guardians!
An important feature of this thread is for members to sign up for Guardians. Guardians are more experienced members who are here to help newcomers out. Every member that signs up for Guardians will be assigned at least three by §hadow, soon after they ask. The sign-up form is below. Guardians will be available to chat over at least one messenger service, or PMs if necessary.
Further, any suggestions you might have for improving the section may also go here. Whether it be an idea for some form of game, or a method of better retaining newcomers, we're more than happy to listen.
