Every Christmas Animeleague has a special chat party where we all get together online and have a load of fun. That's THIS SUNDAY and YOU are invited!
- Everyone is invited - even if you have never been on animeleague before you are still VERY welcome! We are all friends here!
- The party goes on from midday GMT to well past midnight!
- Events - just like a real-convention but online! - we have events ALL day long - see the event planner at the bottom. We have quizes, cosplay, roleplay and lots more!
- Partying and fun
- Our own radio station going on throughout the day with a tonne of DJs blasting out your favorite tunes!
- By fans for fans - there's no adverts, nothing to click join or pay for, just a lot of very good fun! Let's have an awesome time!

The link to get into AL's chatroom is http://www.animeleague.net/forum/irc.php?do=popup This link can be accessed from the top of the forums just under the banner entitled "Chat". We're using new software now that will guarantee this chatroom works for all computers.
Alternatively, if you have irc, join irc.synirc.net and join the channel #animeparty
You need to be registered to use it. Not registered? No problem, you can register via facebook connect (click the fb button at the top right). This takes literally one second to do, no need to fill in any forms or anything, it uses your fb details to make your AL account.

The AL Radio shall be relaunched along with this party!

SO, WHATS THE PLAN, JEEVES? (all times in GMT)
Midday - Get To Know and Chat/Radio Chillout - Listen to your favourite tunes over the radio and meet and get to know the other chat-partiers!
4pm - End of Year Quiz. Show us your knowledge about all things that happened this year! Winner shall get 1,000 credits.
5pm - Caption Contest Hour - Several captions shall be put up. Most amusing captions provided shall win. 1,000 credit prizes for winners.
6pm - Cosplay Masquerade - An hour of roleplay. Pretend to be an anime character and act in character. Judges shall decide who was the most entertaining. 1,000 credits prize for the winner.
7pm - Mike's Happy Hour - FreeSaiyan introduces you all to the mayhem and gets things kicked off in style. Let's get this party started! Make sure to tune into the radio as FreeSaiyan goes on air at this time as well!
8pm - Crossplay Cosplay! - Roleplay your favorite character in the chatroom, but this time with a twist - YOU MUST roleplay a character of the opposite sex! The best portrayal will win a credit prize, and there will be several other special catergories as well! 1,000 credit prizes for the winners.
9pm - The Quizster Hour - We dust the quiz-bot off and arm it with a bunch of Forty Very Interesting Questions! Do you know everything there is to know? Anyone can enter at any time, as the bot keeps track of how many points everyone has. The winner will (you've guessed it!) get credits and prizes!
10pm - Anime Showdown - Get a team of between 2 and 5 players and enter the anime showdown! Your team picks a specific anime series that all your members then roleplay a character from. It's then the battle of the anime shows (This is effectively an online version of the cosplay showdown if you've seen it). Two teams at a time square up to each other, both starting with 100HP each. In turns they make an attack (making sure to name it)! The more entertaining and funny, the better! Our judges then decide whether the attack was a normal hit (-10HP), a miss (0HP), a critical hit (-20HP) or a fail (-10HP to your own side!). The surviving team at the end of this mayhem goes through to the next round! This is a knock-out tournament! Oh, and what's this? The audience are allowed to PM FreeSaiyan to suggest random events to throw at our teams? *Grin* Perfect! Credit prizes for the winning team!
11pm - The Late-Night Drinking Hour (18+ Event) - Mike shall get back on to the radio as we launch our late night drinking game over skype (yay!) Grab some booze and get ready!
