Lol! I have been quote-worthy before, glad to see I still ahve it. What do you mean took pointsers from Catherine and is a grind it out earn your keep?

In any case the storyline of Catherine was great. I watched it on Video Games Awesome Live, a That Guy With the Glasses affiliate/show. I literally watched the entire game being played, and while I love Atlus games I'm not very good at puzzles and stories are the usual reasons I play through games. Since Its not my favorite genre and they went through all the best endings there is no reasons to own that excellent game. XD

I really wish the MMO was better, I'd be playing that the entire time.

Also to add something new to the topic anyone have a favorite out of the two?

It's so hard to choose for me and while the reason I started playing SMT games was number 2 (the intro-video/music/what the hell is this/who are these people), I think number one definitely eeks out just a bit a head because it was the first in the series I played so it had the most memories, I completed that game fully, plus beat Hiro-Shida (Demi-Fiend or whatever you call him.

That and while both stories were epic I just love the mystery of the first game. Getting answers was great, but the mystery of the first game was really awesome.

I thought the second one was better than the first.

And agreed, the MMO is awful. Tremendously awful.

Just got the game for Christmas along with many others, looking forward to trying it

I wanted to so badly like the MMO. What really killed it for me is the movement, it was hard to move my guy around. I can enjoy a bad mmo as long as I can move fairly free through the game. It didn't help that when you moved on the terrain you gained no bonus for being farther away or closer to an enemy.

Shin Megami Tensei actually represents a larger spectrum of games developed by the same people, I personally think Digital Devil Saga is quite lacking. But Im a huge fan of the Persona 2 and 3 which is also Shin Megami Tensei

Personally I loved 3 the most , looking forward to the new one fighting style game coming out

I think persona really stood out because you spent 50% of the day in the game by simply attending school and hanging with freinds it really gave the game a complete feel

I enjoyed 3, but 4 felt a little too similar to 3 to make it quite as enjoyable. Though I did prefer the supporting characters in 4

As for digital devil saga, I'm sure I would enjoy it more if my save was in the right place, and not 3 dungeons earlier

Probably my favourite though is Devil Survivor, I think it's a great TRPG

They're releasing DDS 1 and 2 on PSN soon, can't wait to get my hands on them :3
