Yours isn't anywhere near the usual style I normally like but I actually really like it! The colouring is just sublime, love it. And for the record, the Seraphim sketch is now my absolute favourite, it's gorgeous and such a dynamic pose. Can't wait to see more of your stuff!

Your art work is completely amazing. Very well done. You are good with it. ^__^
Welcome back, dear <3. I remember the title of this thread. I love your work! I can see you getting better and better with every image.

Kakashi Aisuyu: Thank you. Its a good feeling to have something resonate with someone. Thanatos: Thanks! I'm finally getting to be pretty decent at them. Azoth: Thank you! Zen: hello you. I'm finally posting something. It's just pencil work right now but it will probably be colored tomorrow. Maybe. Hopefully. MONTHS AFTER THAT FIRST POST: This will be so much more impressive when colored I promise you. as will this one: With that said I think I just need to admit to myself that I have a feather fetish and get on with my life...
Ok I just did so many long posts, so instead of doing another long post commenting on every submitted piece, I'm going to simply comment on the style, then do the photographs you submitted. *puts on glasses* I love your style. seems very classic anime, very nostalgic. The big watery, impossibly large eyes staring at you just reminds me of clamp. I could even say your artwork is clamptastic... You know, if my best friend was watching me write this, he'd probably facepalm and slap me upside the head. anyways *ahem* its very good and I like it, but I do have really a minor complaint. The eyelashes on sailor moon. looks weird to me. otherwise, your drawn artwork is amazing ^.^ Now then, the two photographs. First thing, is that you? If it is then you are very pretty. I love the hoodie you are wearing and you are modeling it well. I especially like the photograph with the text. It looks amazing and the model looks like she is having fun with it (I don't want to assume its you >.>). just realized I am tarded. There are four images there isn't there. I thought they were together v.v() Bah regardless its cool that the hoodie glows in the dark, though I'd like it to glow more : / The picture pointing to the glow in the dark one is nice and I love the pointing, but the hands look blurry. I like the closeup of the hoodie and the image of your model looking at the camera. The markings on the face look distinct and very much in compliment with the hoodie. Your work is very nice and I hope to see more!

Welcome back again! It's nice to see you, gorgeous, and to see this thread again. I really enjoyed looking at your first post and remembering how much I loved those drawings you posted. So colorful and beautiful! Come post in the spam thread with us. =] Your new drawings are very good. I love the body proportions in the first one. She looks pixie-like in more than just her wings; her body type is perfect for that sort of character. The second one has gorgeous eyes, especially in their shape. I'd love to see these colored!
I think I've saw these before somewhere, I never forget art that captivates me like this. You draw in a style I detest and make me adore it, that's a skill and a half. Your colours for the first two knock my metaphysical socks off. Trucken A.
Your style is adorable. Kinda makes me want to take another stab at watercolours. I'm quite impressed with how much detail you can get onto such a small canvas size with the art cards.
If I had to pick one it would be Bublegum and Feathers although I like all your pieces. It reminds me of the anime I used to watch when I was a kid and at the same time of the art in Angel Sanctuary even though its not the same, it just gives me that ... arty vive, of watercolours and oils which I like very much ^ ^
I got nothing left to lose, but my sanity and the right to go insane...
I don't see anything wrong in a feathers fetish. It works really well with your style, the combination of watercolors and feathers really flows. Can't wait to see the last two pieces colored.
For some reason i thought that I had responded to the most recent comments.... *is made of FAIL* Lith: Thank you. I do admire Clamp and I really enjoy older anime. It shows up rather obviously in my style. XD As for the photographs, that is me. Black wig for the win. I can' take credit for the make up as I took the look directly from a Vocaloid video and you have no idea how hard it is to capture glow in the dark with a camera. I am working on getting them to glow more though. >_> Zen: Glad to be back. I really need to work on being active in this area. I haven't been able to color the new ones because I only paint in natural light and my days have been consumed with bonding with dad. I guess I can't really complain. Vaan: :3 I need to get more work up. I really like playing with bright colors and I feel that I'm pretty good at it. Timona: Yay! you totally should. I'd love to see that! Also: Thank you. I use a nibed pen and ink my work with the smallest nib I can find. Alucard: Bubblegum and Feathers is probably the most popular image I have out in the world right now. I kind of suspected it would be based on reaction I got when I was coloring my own hair bright colors. Purple made people rage the least. XD Cre-Cre: The whole girls and feathers was something I did on a whim years ago and its just become a theme I can't shake. Lawl. I really will try to get those others colored pretty quick here. So more random stuff. At least it's new this time. Can't I Even Dream Version Aerify @Aerify (I'll take it down if you want me toooooooo! ;A; we never really verified who could display it where) and this crap: http://i1006.photobucket.com/albums/...t/P3210682.jpg http://i1006.photobucket.com/albums/...t/P3210684.jpg And this is some of the ink work I did a few days ago to turn a quick profit because I feel the need to share even though its nothing remotly worth sharing.
A lot of your artwork, well, the style in general reminds me of the art in the Trinity Blood manga as it's very 'petite' and extremely pretty!
神性 :: shimmering like moonlight - tumblr :: ::i like your whispers, i like your screams:: ::i like your lies and i'm sure i'd like your dreams::
Thank you Heartless. On the topic of Trinity Blood I was really resistant to the manga series. I was all "It's hellsing. Only Alucard has a soul which makes him a huge angst-whore, somehow someone shoved Integra into a dress and we swap out the German for Latin. Also there are no Nazis or boobies. Why would I read this?" And then I read it anyway because the Mangaka is such a delightful pervert and I really do love the style it's drawn in. I think that I sort of gravitate towards that brand of gothic seen in manga. I do admire the work of artists like Kaori Yuki (Angel Sanctuary), Yoshitoshi Abe (Lain, Haibane Renmei) and Yoshitaka Amano. Actually looking at Amano's work over the past week has made me realize it's ok to draw things I like and draw them messy. I have a messy style that I've put alot of work into cleaning up... but I realize now that some of that messy chaos is ok. Amano does fun things with anatomy really calling to attention to muscle groups or posture and I love the feeling it gives his work. Personally I like to draw bones but have put that aside to produce work that is easier to sell to a wide market. Lately I'm dissatisfied with alot of my work on some level. Sometimes it feels juvenile to me and I hope to branch out. I am glad that others like it because I've put work into getting good and what I do and I hope that it will provide a platform for other things. Anyway... enough rambling out of me. >_> This is as close to GFX as Shine gets.
