Jacy couldn't help but smile a bit at Marle's words as she began to relax in her seat, instinctively crossing her legs as she leaned back, looking at Marle in the mirror. "Actually, we do." She chuckled a tiny bit at the thought. It was strange--they had an amazing gym, amazing equipment, but for some odd reason their jail security was lacking. It seemed like out of all the renovations, the things that needed to be upgraded the most, just stayed the same. Her eyes shifted to the windshield once more as she looked out into the horizon, seeing the tall structures and random businesses they passed. She could feel her eyelids getting heavy. Between Norah Jones' calming music, the sound of rain, and the smooth car ride, Jacy found herself on the brink to nodding off in Raven's car. She made attempts to fight it as she rested her elbow on the center console, keeping her head upright, pressing the side of her face against the loose fist she made.

Madeline frowned as Isara asked about her parents, confusion in the young girl's voice. Cradling Isara's head in her hands, she locked her eyes on Isara's, silently reinforcing the trance she had placed Isara in the day before. "Your parents left you here when you were very young," she explained, "They could not afford to keep you, and wanted someone to raise you as their own." She allowed a smile to creep across her face, "That someone turned out to be me. They left Cityscape after that, and to my knowledge have never returned." She stroked Isara's hair as she spoke, sadly realising that sooner or later, the memories were going to return - and she dreaded the thought of what would happen when they did. "Now, where were we?" she asked, trying to change the subject and ease the tension in the room. *** "Not at all," Vance said as he took in Alice's sodden appearance - resistant he might be to her powers, but the woman still glowed with sexuality - "By the time we reach the car, I'll be just as wet, anyway. There are towels for the wine in the limo, you can use those to dry off." Leading the way, he ran out into the rain and opened the limo door for Alice, following her into the back of the long luxurious car. Seating himself oposite her, he passed across a towel and poured two glasses for them. "So," he said, "before we get down to business, what reason might bring a beautiful woman such as yourself all this way to talk to a businessman like me? Is this a business call, or did you have something more social in mind?"

Sypher nearly spit out his drink at the words that escaped the boys lips. What the fuck was wrong with this kid? Girl's clothes, well that explains everything. The banter that followed between a now laughing table of men and Kira which ended with Kira smashing one of the men's head onto the bar brought him out of his train of thought for a bit. "Get out!" With that command the group of men began to leave the bar. It was pretty obvious to him why they were laughing. If there was one thing Sypher didn't like, it was people laughing at others likes and abilities regardless of how.... unusual they were. "Hey!!" The men stopped in their tracks. Sypher Finished off his drink and set it on the table, then rose from his seat. "Next time I hear that you have been laughing at this kid..." Sypher threw a quick jab, creating a drilling type vacuum and sending it hurling through the air and extremely close to one of the men's neck. "...I'll cut out your throat." The last words scared the once laughing men bad enough that he started to see Dark spots at the crotch of their pants. As it began to grow Sypher's grin widened and he began to laugh. Holy shit these guys just pissed their pants. Sypher laughed for a good bit as they scrambled out of the bar. Once his laughter had subsided, he sat back down in his seat. He turned to look at the boy then spoke in a gentle, almost mentor like tone. " Kira's right. Never let someone disrespect you kid. You gotta learn to stand up for yourself alright. Otherwise you'll get laughed at or possibly worse. Now as for you babe..." he turned to Kira leaning over the bar and closer to her, whispering in her ear "Think I could steal a kiss from you babe? Preferably one with a bit more passion than a tease."

Without fear, there can be no good or evil.
Kaim smiled to the music and liked it before seeing Kira sticking up for him "Thank's Kira for protecting me, maybe you can teach me that to hurt them next time they laugh at me" Kaim smiled to her and stared back into Kira's eye's while hearing everyone leave the bar, Kiam got up and sat next to Kira who appeared from her secert hide away. "Your funny and thank you, i do like to wear women's clothes Kira" Kaim looked at the bottles of alcahol behind the bar "Hey i make you my speical drink Kira" Kaim got a glass and started to combine alcahol together, one part vodka along with coke a bit of spirit's and more vodka topped of with a cheery and on top, Kaim gave the drink to Kira "Here i learn to mixed drink's when i got bored there was always enough alcahol around for me to do it, only that i get scolded for it to each time" Kaim smiled waiting for kira to take the glass. "I hope you enjoy it Kira" Kaim sat next to her waiting for Kira to dry it hopeing she will like it, Kaim looked up at Hoss who said nothing and was still wipeing down the bar. "Thank you Sypher your kind to me if you need anything drink just ask and i get it for you" Kaim continued to sit down next to Kira hearing her music thumping loudly.
((ooc: sorry for the delay, I had a delayed flight and scrappy service)) Finally she listened to him, taking the car and Tia with a simple nod. Carl was someone she trusted in general and that was a lot coming from the detective. She was pretty much known for trusting no one and liking few. Be careful Carl... she thought before startign the vehicle. They hurried, the easiest route was the expressway so she headed to it. They were trailed though. Someone knew she was in that vehicle but Kyle was trailed also. The body! She tried to out manuver the other truck but the damned thing was hard to control. They hit the on ramp at impressive speeds, only to be smashed into, forcing them to fly over the concrete barrier and plummet to the river below. It would take hours before anyone was able to get to the vehicle but they would find no bodies. No, Lynn Harper was too clever for those assholes and she valued life a little more than expected. If someone on the edge of town was looking, they would see two figures climb from the banks into the woods...

Raven's eyes drifted to the rear view first to watch MArle for a second then to Jacy. His brow cocked a bit as he noted her slightly dozing state and, for once he felt a little bad. She had not slept last night and all the stress of the last day and half... well it was no surprise she'd be exhausted, then again he was in the same boat, wasn't he? Luckily he was driving so being lulled by the sultry tones of a jazz singer and rain did little to coax him into slumber, not when he was behind the wheel. About another fifteen minutes of comfortable silence followed before they finally pulled into the police station's parking garage. Mostly squad cars, police vans, and the swat devision's three armored vehicleds filled the single level roofed space. He was technically supposed to use the parking lot, but this was much better than another bout in the rain, for all of them. "We're here," he announced as he pulled into the parking space next to the tunnel entrance that would lead to the back rooms of the station and essentially the gym and locker rooms. ~*~ Alice followed after the man, the steady clack, clack, clack of her high heels echoed out on the wet pavement. The moment he opened the door, she slipped in smoothly, sliding along the leather of the seat to ensure he had enough room to duck in behind her. The limo door shut and no sooner did she find a fluffy, warm white towel offered to her. She smiled, the sweet scent of wine filling the somewhat humid hair of the limo. "Thank you," she said. With said towel in hand, she shouldered off her purse and began to slowly dragged the soft terry cloth through her damped strands and the back of her neck. Each move was slow, be it naturally sultry or deliberate was hard to say. Her free hand unbuttoned the first few buttons of her blouse that had been soaked though to being reveling the lacy design of her full body slip while the cruve of full breasts poked though the newly opened cloth. She dapped and dried with a slow hum of content. Her eyes opened to watched Vance as he spoke, quietly studying he moves, trying to guage his reaction to her presence alone by at least his physical responses. "Maybe a little bit of both," she admitted with a playful smirk. "It isn't often a girl likes me gets to mingle with a big wig like you after all." She dragged the towel down her body tracing the curves of her body to soak up as much water in her clothes as possible. "But first, lets concentrate on business, hmm?" Satisfied with her now damp for, she settled back in her seat and crossed her legs. ~*~ [ooc: It's fine ^_^] Carl had managed to find the sniper with ease. The man, a scrawny looking Marine reject, had tried to run, but instead found himself with a face full of fur and snarling teeth. Dispatching him was easy. Carl did not kill him. He never did, not if he could help it. Instead, he had carried the unconscious body back down to the street, found the nearest parked squad car, and bent the parking meter that was next to it around the man's body for the police, who were inside the diner ignoring their radios, to deal with. Then, he was back on the road, back on all fours. He had for gone Nick's bike in favor of four footed travel. It was faster by far in anycase. He trailed after the telltail scents of his fellow officers, hoping to catch up to them before they ran into anymore trouble- of course, he had no idea that anyone had gotten ran off the road just yet.

Isara felt a pang of sadness with every word that came from Madeline's lips. Though hearing what had happened to them was cruel, it was gentle as well, seemingly easing the girl and her thoughts. It was bittersweet knowing her parents had more or less abandoned her, but at least she still had Madeline, Arya, and her new family. At least she wasn't alone, right? "Now, where were we?" She opened her eyes for a brief moment and gazed over at her mentor, then after a moment of silence she said, "Water. We were talking about body art, Madeline." ------------------------------------------------------- "Think I could steal a kiss from you babe? Preferably one with a bit more passion than a tease." Her brow quirked in amusement, that laughter oozing from her lips as she watched Kaim making her a drink. It was what some would call a sweet gesture, but for her it was neither here nor there; she just watched. It had been nearly eight years since she started working in bars and during that time no one ever made her a mixed drink, not even herself. Kira was an easy to please woman. If someone gave her a warm, cheap bottle of liquor, she'd drink it up like water and say it was the best damn thing ever. She studied his motions, his movements, his portions, rubbing her chin thoughtfully before moving a stray strand of dark hair from her face. Once he was finished, Kira grinned and wrapped her now bare fingers around the glass as she brought it to her lips. "Thanks, kid. Keep this up and I might actually have to pay you," She joked as she pushed her hand down the front of her own pants and pulled out a five dollar bill, tossing it on the counter as the smell of Vodka reached her nose. Kira then clasped her teeth around the rim of the glass as she drank, devouring the liquid in seconds, leaving only the cherry behind. She was pretty fucked up before, already downing a fifth of vodka and consuming half the bottle of tequila that she had left in the other room. But she was a champ, especially when it came to liquor. Worst case scenario she would just find herself in a cell for a few hours. The thought made her smile as she took the cherry in her mouth and turned to Sypher, leaning over the bar once more only to slap him across the cheek before pressing her lips to his, her tongue pushing through his lips, forcing that cherry into his mouth. He did ask for passion after all and who was she to deny him that? Hoss just watched the exchange, groaning in disapproval before he went on with his business of cleaning up the blood that had been left behind. ------------------------------------------------------- "We're here." When those words reached her ears, her eyes immediately opened as she pressed her back against the seat, gazing out at the familiar surroundings of the parking garage. She shook off that dazed feeling as she opened her door and stepped out, shutting it behind her before she stood straight. The woman made a quick path through the back rooms until she reached the gym area, which housed various equipment: treadmills, weights, work out benches, pull up bars, etc. One wall was lined with freshly wiped down mirrors, while the opposite wall had a television and a window that separated the gym from the indoor pool. Jacy turned to Marle as she said, "This is the gym. If you think the pool would be better it's right over there." She tilted her head towards the direction, then continued with a small smile, "Let me know if you find him." Jacy then proceeded to walk through the area until she reached the locker rooms, where she pressed her back up against the wall, waiting for Raven before she asked, "Do you want some help?" She looked up at him before her eyes trailed down until they rested on his arm. Jacy herself didn't really know how heavy those limbs were by themselves, but she could only imagine the difficulty he would have when he decided to dry out his leg. The thought of going into a men's locker room didn't really seem to phase her nearly as much.
Raven followed behind the two at a much slowly pace. When he entered the hall that led to the locker rooms, trailing water at his feet, he was surprised to find the chief leaning against the wall outside of them, waiting for him? His head tilted in curiousity, and then his face reflected a bit of surprise as the woman asked if he would need help. Slowly his left brow cocked and the corner of his mouthed quirked in amusement pushing aside the sudden insecurity of having her help him remove his limbs. "Are you offering to help or are you just looking for an excuse to see me naked again?"
Vance allowed his eyes to follow the towel on its path down Alice's body as she dried herself off. Her movements had a deliberate slowness to them, as if she were doing it for his benefit as much as for the sake of drying off. Passing her a glass, he leant back and sipped from his own. "Very well, then, business. The reporters have been busy this last few days, what with that shootout downtown, the jailbreak at the station. You managed to save those women from the shootout, then returned to the station in time to prevent any more criminals from escaping. I saw you dragging one of the criminals up the steps in the background of one of the reports." He nodded to her, inclining the glass in a toast. "What that shows me is that you are a doer; you see injustice and you go out and stop it. You act, quickly and efficiently, and get the guilty behind bars. In short, you are exactly what I am looking for." He paused to allow his words to sink in. "The new police force I am building will have need of skilled officers - skilled leaders - such as yourself. With you at its head, criminal activity in this city would be reduced to zero. I believe the salary of the Chief of Police in my Cityscape is being set at one million dollars, annually. That kind of money and position could open a lot of doors, as could having a close....personal connection with the mayor of Cityscape. What do you think, Chief?"
Alice accepted the glass and took a moment just to savor the scent of the wine before sipping from the glass and humming her delight. She rarely got the chance totaste good wine. Her enjoyment all but stopped however as she listened to Vance speak, and her eyes honed in on him for a long moment after words. One million dollars?....Is he serious? Her mind turned idea over and over. It did not sound bad, not bad at all... and Vance did have a lot of connections. She took another sip of that wine. "Are you trying to bribe me, Mr. Vance?" Alice then asked. She remained calm, collected, though that flash of interest was evident in her green hues. A million dollars could move her out of her condo, into a nice quite little house away from the city.. could buy her the food she really craved. She licked her lips, glossing the peach tinted flesh with her tongue. "Because if you are, you are doing a very good job at it." She lowered the glass finally and slowly uncrossed her legs to switch them, momentarily flashing a shameless peak beneath the skirt at the small, barely their strip of cloth that served as her underwear beneath the lace body slip. "But being Chief of police is quite a big, big title. I'm not quite sure if I'd want to deal with all the bullshit that went with it. I chose the unit I'm in for a reason after all. Being in the lime-light has never been my forte- well... at least when it wasn't on a stage, if you catch my drift." Those full, damp lips curved into an almost flirtatious, suggestive grin. "If I'm going to consider your offer, seriously, I'll need something more than a few bucks to reign me in. A woman like me needs a little more substance."
"Are you offering to help or are you just looking for an excuse to see me naked again?" As she leaned against the wall, she crossed her arms over her chest, letting out a soft chuckle in response before she replied, "Oh, you found me out. Though if all I wanted was to see you naked again..." She leaned in a bit, her tone dropping a touch as if she was telling him a dirty secret "...I would have just walked in without saying a word. Seeing you without clothes is just a plus at this point." It definitely was. She'd be a filthy liar if she said she wasn't impressed. The rumors had suggested he had the body of Adonis and after seeing it first hand, she'd agree, though not aloud. Jacy leaned back against the wall, staring into his bright blue eyes with her oceanic ones, smiling as she lightly tilted her head towards the door. "So what do you say, detective?"
Raven was hessitant though he new it was foolish. She had seen him without his leg and arm on more than one occasion when he had been in the hospital so why should now be any different? Because you weren't doing the horizontal tango with her then, that little voice in the back of his mind chided. He ignored it with a shrug. "If you really want to, who am I to deny you, hmm?" With that said, he stepped passed her and to the men's locker room. "Do I at least get a happy ending after you dry me off?" he then joked as he slipped inside. If she was going to do this, she would follow, he knew and so did not look back to hope otherwise. Instead he immediately shrugged out of that sopping wet jacket and dumped it onto one of the wooden benches between the rows of lockers. The tank top he wore was soaked through and through leaving nothing to the imagination. He peeled it up and off, leaving him in little more than his jeans and boots before he moved to the locker at the end of the row and opened it to fetch a towel out from it. He didn't have a change of clothes here so he'd have to ring everything out by the looks of it.
"Do I at least get a happy ending after you dry me off?" "Maybe. Do maids generally do happy endings?" Jacy laughed lightly as she followed him, feeling the almost instant mugginess the room carried. She stopped for a moment as she watched him start to remove his clothes, turning her head away in respect, her eyes switching back to him every now and then, soon seeing him move on to one of the lockers. Naturally she shrugged out of her own jacket, setting it down on the sink before she pushed her wavy locks to one side. She gently began wringing out the excess water in her hair as she leaned against the sink, her own soaked clothes sticking tightly to her skin. It was a good thing that no one else seemed to be in there with them, though it wouldn't have made a difference. "When are you supposed to get your permanent set?" She asked keeping her face turned away.
His eyes glanced towards her as she entered and stripped out of her own jacket. His gaze lingered on her form for a long moment before it settled back on the locker. "Whenever they finish working out the kinks and my guy can get approval to let me wear it," Raven replied. He turned from the locker and held out a small towel for her. "Here. Not bit, but it's better than nothing." It was, more or less, just a very large hand towel, and he held a matching one in his other hand. Once relieved of the cloth he moved to the bench and plopped himself down onto it with a wet squelch from his jeans. He set to roughly drying his brown locks and his torso before he settled his attention onto his arm where skin met prosthetic. He momentarily fingered the scar tissue that surrounded the flesh toned, metal base the arm connected to.
Jacy turned her attention back towards him as he held out a towel for her. Her lips curved into a soft smile as she took it from him. "Thank you," She replied simply as she now watched him moving to the bench in the locker room. That feeling of nostalgia came over her once more as she thought about the first time she had seen him after he had his limbs removed. Her features softened and her lips barely parted as she watched him start to finger the seam. It saddened her a bit. After all, she felt responsible. Perhaps her helping him was a form of redemption. Jacy let out a soft breath as she pushed her spine away from the sink and slowly made her way towards him, a sad smile placed on her lips. Soon she seated herself beside Raven on the bench, ready to take the weight of his arm away from him or whatever he needed her to do. "Does it hurt...when you do that? Do you get phantom pains?"
