The Cosplay Auction is one of our big events and has everyone go up for bid, with the winner of each cosplayer getting that character for a given amount of time.
Remember that 50% of the proceeds will go to charity, so do make sure to enter, it's all good for charity.

For the Auctionees: Please be aware that it is inadvisable to leave the convention area with the winning bidder unless you know them well.

For the Bidders: Please be advised, the cosplayers you bid on are not your personal property and are only available for hanging out with and friendship. Any complaints from cosplayers about bidders trying to take things further will be taken seriously and you may be ejected from the convention.

Please remember to turn up backstage 15 mins before the start of the show, we will ask you to wait in our beautiful little green room (actually a corridor) next to the stage until the show starts.

What does one have to do if they put themselves up for auction? and when is the auction? I have two cosplays that I could maybe try though my time is a little limited due to the fact I am an art trader too but I could do a circuit of the trader hall and buy someone a drink if they get me I guess if its for charity.

@chaobreeder - We really only ask you to give a little back to the wonderful soul who has bought and spent money on you. If you would have time to sit down for a talk and possibly achieve a new friend then that would be amazing. We don't blame you for not having hours and hours to spend so even if you went to the bar and got yourself a drink each and just had a sit down I'm sure your bidder would be pleased. ^_^
