A bit late but better than never! The votes are in and finally tallied up so it is time to announce the winners of the second CityScape Awards. Covering a variety of categories suited to CityScape and its members the winners are as is picked by us all, or those who put the effort in to vote. Anyone and everyone who is a part of CityScape was up with a chance to win, and so without further hold-up let me present the winners.
And there we have it folks, those are our winners for the year of 2011. With the award comes the recognition of the time and effort they have spent in CityScape with their writing, and something that I hope they are all proud of. The prize awards will be going out shortly as soon as we can get them into the system and then you will be able to marvel at their shininess.
To the others who got votes and missed the cut, or didn’t receive any at all, don’t despair though. Your efforts in the section are just as valued as without all of its members CityScape just wouldn’t be the same place that we all know and love. Just keep on doing what you are doing and who knows what the next year may bring. The most important thing is that you come here to have fun so just enjoy yourselves out there.
Finally, just a little special thank you to the people who worked on the awards behind the scenes. Starting off we have @Akirai Narumi , who put together the CityScape Awards to begin with but unfortunately had to leave us before they ran their course. When he gets back from his disaster relief aid the winners will be treated to the GFX skills of @Alucard , who has made up the actual award icons. Lastly there is @Black-Waltz, who tallied up the votes for the individual members awards, and @Shana , who tallied up half of the individual role-plays/characters awards. I was then the one who tallied up the final half, put together the tie-breakers that needed voting and tallied those up, and put together the nice organised lists and announcement thread that you have just read.
With all that out of the way I just want to say thank you again to everyone out there, and that’s the curtain call on the CityScape Awards 2011.
