BJD Panel Feedback & Raffle News

Hi all! I helped Akkiko out with her panel a little bit so I thought it would be good for us to get some feedback on what you guys thought ^__^

Also, I am delighted to say that we raised £200 from the raffle for Akemi's charity Aid for Japan which I have sent over to their account this morning

Thank you all very much, and congratulations to everyone who won a prize! (And next year I am not kissing any tickets, it gives an unfair advantage! )

I didn't win TT_TT though I hung out with the girl who did, there was a small issue with the BJD's head, i'm not sure you heard but the cap kept coming off, on further inspection we noticed she was missing the magnet.

My first ever dollmeet (and taking my doll anywhere ) and although it was slightly disorientating walking in to see all the dolls sitting listening to the panel (I was so hungover and tired and it was so early XD) I learnt alot and actually feel alittle more comfortable being a doll owner. I doubt I'll ever take her on the bus or to Tesco or anything like that, but I think I'm ready to accept her and bond with her

I didn't hear about that Kurtis - the magnet is there, it just needs glueing back in. I intended to do it before the panel/raffle draw but unfortunately I simply didn't have time. It's definitely there though - or at least it was when the doll was in my possession Sorry, if she'd come and mentioned it to me before I left around midnight I'd have fixed it for her Super glue will sort it out though, if hot glue isn't an option

Awww TRA I'm glad you enjoyed yourself!! I can't bring myself to take my dolls to places like the supermarket either, I'm just too shy, but I'm glad the panel was informative and that you feel more comfortable now! ^__^ Feel free to drop me a PM if you have any questions - I don't get an e-mail or anything when I get them so I might not reply right away but if I can help, I will

We only found out later that day, I think she's just gonna buy a new magnet xD

Well the existing one should be stuck to the other magnet in the head... they're quite strong so I'd be surprised if it had gotten lost, I had a hard time getting it off when the doll arrived and just clicked it back on for safe keeping... if she buys a new one without removing the spare it will probably make the headcap loose so best to just double-check that there definitely isn't one already attached to the magnet in the head before she spends any money on it

Coolies, thanks (Y) Just don't want her forking out money if she doesn't have to, especially if it may not actually resolve the problem ^^;
