Re: The Indigo Plateau Conference (Pokemon Tournament RP)

"Wait, Krys!" Ceraf jumped up as Krystal practically ran for the door. "Shit..." He looked after her a little sadly, then his face dropped into a scowl and he rounded on Becka, slamming a hand down on the table and glaring right into Becka's face, making her jump out of her skin. "What the hell was that all about?!" He growled.

"W-what do you mean?" Becka asked, leaning back from him wide eyed.

"Why did you deliberately make her angry with me?" He persisted, pointing a finger towards the door.

"It's her fault for being so damn territorial over you." Becka replied with a huffy shrug. Her shock had worn off, and now she just seemed fed up with the fact that Ceraf hadn't found her trick funny. "I'm allowed to flirt with a single guy, aren't I?"

"That was a bit more than flirting, Becka." Ceraf finished, sighing and heading for the door, shaking his head slightly. He wasn't angry with her, not really. Despite her age, she had the spirit of a twelve year old, acting as if life should either be funny, cool or cute, and not paying attention to anything in between. He folded his arms and started walking up the road to the stadium, Salamence following him and misbehaving since Ceraf's mind was elsewhere. All the way up the path, Ceraf's mind wasn't on who would be the next trainers to fight. He was, as he had for the last two years, wondering how he could make things up to Krystal. Then, his name was called through the tannoy.

"...Reminal, Ceraf, report to the stadium reception, please."

Ceraf's heart nearly stopped. He hadn't been paying attention. Who would his first challenge be? He waited, stood stock still, for the message to repeat, not even noticing Salamence growling at a passing Hydreigon.

"The next battle will commence in five minutes. Travers, Becka and Reminal, Ceraf...

He ignored the rest of the message, feeling his temper flaring at the injustice of chance. He never said a word to the poor receptionist, only flashing his card and walking down the passage she indicated. He pulled Salamence's pokeball from his belt, recalling the reluctant pokemon before he exited the passage and stepped out into the arena floor. Becka had already climbed onto her podium, and was watching him with a hint of unease as he did the same. A worrying smirk had replaced Ceraf's anger, as he contemplated just how much revenge he could get in a single fight...

OOC: Yup, I'm taking the next fight Sorry for the mahoosively late post everyone, our modem broke -_-

Re: The Indigo Plateau Conference (Pokemon Tournament RP)

As Krystal was heading towards the hotel, Migtyena still growled a little bit at her as she followed closely behind. Her pokemon was always like this everytime she did something wrong. It was a little annoying, but it kinda helped her sometimes.

"Ok! I shouldn't have acted that way. It's was wrong." she admitted to the canine "I'll apologize to them next time I see them."

Mightyena gave her sort of a smirking look, Krystal rolled her eyes. Just as she reached the hotel's entrance, she looked to her right and saw not that that far away the stadium where the conference battles are taking place today. She didn't know how to explain it but there's something about pokemon battles, whether she's watching a battle or is the one battling, that helps her forget about all the problems that she's faced no matter how big or small it was. She looked down at Mightyena with a smile. Her pokemon gave her a nod, for she knew very well what her trainer was about to request and was just as eager as she was. Without any further delay both inmediately headed towards the stadium.

A few minutes later Krystal reached the stadium and was wandring around the building looking for seats. Luckily, she found one around the center. As she sat down, she saw Becka climbing to her podium. Mightyena started barking and wagging her tail happily when she saw a familiar face arriving the arena. It was Ceraf. She looked back and forth between Ceraf and Becaka, even though she was far away from them she still felt a little uncomfortable. She just couldn't get that image of Becka with Ceraf out of her head. She shook her head in an effort to get rid of it. It's been almost two years that they last saw each other, of course he would eventually move on. If he can then so could Krystal. But the real question is, would she allow herself to do it? The excited cheer of the enormous crowd helped her snap out of that thought. Before the battle began Krystal heard the referee anouncing the names of the challengers to the crowd as they always do. She raised an eyebrow in confusion when she heard the name ceraf Reminal instead of Ceraf Tydal.

"Reminal? He changed it?" she asked Mightyena "what else is new about him?"

After the referee mentioned the rules of the battle, he anounced the competitors to start the battle. As Ceraf and Becka threw their pokeballs in the air, Krystal looked at the right podium where he's standing.

      "Good luck Ceraf..." she wished

Re: The Indigo Plateau Conference (Pokemon Tournament RP)

I'd like to join this if it's not too late to join.

      Character Form:
      Name: Drew
      Age: 20
Appearance: At 6'2, Drew usually stands tall over his opponents. His slim and pale like appearance make Drew look even taller and lankier, often to his dismay. Drew's main attire consists of a black shirt and trousers, with a huge baggy trenchcoat on top. The trenchcoat often looks like it's too big, even for Drew as the collar comes up to slightly past Drew's mouth, hiding it from sight. Drew's long yet messy dark blue hair is probably his most defining feature, being so long that it goes down to his waist at the back, while the sides go down to shoulder length.

      History:
In Johto Drew was born and raised
and in the Pokeschool playground is where he spent most of his days.
Chilling out, relaxing, training Pokemon, all cool
and shooting some bullet seed inside of the school.

When a couple of Rocket's they were up to no good,
started making trouble in his Pokehood.
He got into one little Pokemon battle and his mum got scared
and said you're moving in with your aunt and uncle in Kanto.

He whistled for a Pidgeot and when it came near
The collar said fresh and it's nickname was mirror
If anything he can say is that this Pidgeot wasn't rare
But he thought 'Man forget it' - 'Yo home to Kanto

He arrived at the house about seven or eight
And he yelled to the Pidgeot 'Yo Mirror catch ya later'
      He looked to my kingdom
      He was finally there
He'd dream of becoming the prince of Kanto (League)

      Pokemon
      Chandelure:
Chandelure was the third Pokemon Drew recieved. On a family trip to the Isshu region, Drew wandered off and ended up getting lost in a deep forest. As he wandered, the afternoon turned to evening and evening into the twilight hour. With the overhead sky being a deep blood red, Drew heard an eerie noise. Quickly running towards the noise, Drew found an injured Litwick by a bigger than normal Gengar. The Gengar was relentless in hurling Shadow Ball attacks, usually not very effective however used over and over it could deal some real damage. Wanting to help the Litwick, Drew dived in front of it, taking the pain from the many Shadow Ball attacks. Thinking quickly, Drew sent out his then Pupitar and used a few Bite attacks on the Gengar to make it flee. With that, the Litwick was save from more pain. Seeing how injured the Litwick was, Drew picked it up and carried it, wanting to get it to a Pokecentre for healing. However he was still lost in the deep forest. Sensing that the helpful trainer was lost, Litwick pointed the flame on it's head like a compass to the entrance of the forest. After an hour the two had made it outside the forest, knowing they'd made it to safety the Litwick finally fainted, it had been clinging on to make sure Drew escaped the forest before the dead of night. The following day, the Litwick woke up hooked up to a few monitors in the Pokecentre. Seeing Drew sleeping beside it, the Litwick hovered over to Drew's belt with Pokeballs on and touched one with it's arm. Suddenly, Litwick glowed red and was sucked into the Pokeball, it had chosen to follow Drew.
Some 8 months later Litwick evolved into Lampent and then a few months later Lampent came into contact with a Dusk Stone to evolve into Chandelure.

Tyranitar: The first Pokemon Drew received. Originally Drew's family had lived the area around Mount Silver, his father's Tyranitar and his mother's Tyranitar produced this offspring that was kept in a Pokeball for a few years until Drew came of age. The Larvitar was really timid at first, being cooked up in a Pokeball for years didn't help at all. It took a few more years before it finally trusted Drew and it finally evolved into Pupitar and then a few years later into Tyranitar. When it was newly evolved into Tyranitar, Tyranitar had problems controlling it's power, often using too much or too little when using attacks. This led to Tyranitar being kept at a special training facility for three years, while there Drew's Tyranitar trained with other Tyranitars, Aggrons, Rhyperiors and Nidokings. The facility also helped with making the rock/ground type Pokemon stronger against water, by getting them used to it a lot more. Countless Water Guns, Water Pulses and Hydro Cannons were fired at Tyranitar, helping it build it's resistance against it's weakness. In the second year, many Grass based attacks were used against Tyranitar, helping it overcome it's weakness to Grass type Pokemon. While it was stronger against these types of attacks, they were still considered a minor weakness. While at the facility, Drew visited Tyranitar twice a week for a day at a time. After all, it helped raise the bond between the Pokemon and the trainer.

Glaceon: The 4th Pokemon Drew received, Eevee came into Drew's possession as an Egg handed to him in a special promotion. After taking a few months to hatch, Eevee was born into the world. Drew seemed to train relentlessly with the Eevee, wanting it to overcome the weakness that was it's size. At first Eevee hated Drew for pushing it to extremes, however in time the Eevee came to realise that it was stronger than most other Pokemon it's size and even some Pokemon a few times bigger than itself. One day however, a really strong Butterfree completely destroyed Eevee in battle, when Eevee came around in a Pokecentre a few days later, it immediately ran away in an effort to do some soul searching. Somehow while foraging in the wild, the Eevee found a small rock in the ocean, the icy rock had floated all the way from a distant land. Suddenly as Eevee touched it, it found itself glowing white and changing shape. It had evolved into a Glaceon. After exploring the lands of Johto as a Glaceon for a few months, Glaceon remembered Drew when she'd noticed two trainers giving their all in battle. Luckily remembering where Drew lived, the female Glaceon made her way home. Having been looking for the Eevee for months, Drew was emotionally shattered from losing one of his best friends. As soon as the Glaceon came into sight however, he noticed the Glaceon had the same innocent looking eyes that his Eevee once had.

Ampharos: Mareep was the first ever Pokemon that Drew caught and his second ever Pokemon. In his 13th wild Pokemon battle, the duo of Larvitar and Drew came across a wild Mareep. Having always wanted his own Flaffy, Drew tried his best to catch the Mareep, sacrificing 13 Pokeballs to do so. The two build up a great relationship over the years. Mareep evolved into Flaffy after only 3 months while it took over a year before Flaffy became an Ampharos.

Larvesta, Larvesta, the 6th Pokemon that Drew caught. It took years to track down one of these almost legendary in rarity Pokemon. Drew pulled out everything he could to train this Pokemon, including training at top Pokemon training facilities with Gym Leaders and EX-Elite Four and Battle Frontier members. While all his Pokemon benefited from training at such a prestigious place, Larvesta was the main reason for going there as they were notoriously hard to train well. Only the very best trainers could get them to evolve and it took even more skills to train Larvesta's to withstand attacks that would normally OHKO them. Having spent one year at the top Johto training facility, which was the maximum time allowed, Drew was told he'd be moving to Kanto soon. Partly his own fault for fighting with some Team Rocket members, a rival had ratted him out saying he'd destroyed public property, even though it was the Rockets that had done so.

Gabite: Gible, Drew's 5th Pokemon. Found in a deep cave when visiting the Sinnoh region, Drew threw over 30 duskballs at this rather stubborn Pokemon. That was something the two had in common, never giving up their stubbornness. Slowly training Gible with care eventually made it evolve into Gabite after three years. Drew has been trying very hard to get Gabite to evolve again, but after another three years, it doesn't seem to be happening. Thinking that something with high steaks would make the Gabite want to evolve, Drew secretly made plans to fight in the Kanto League.

Re: The Indigo Plateau Conference (Pokemon Tournament RP)

With a roar of flames, Ninetales erupted from her pokeball, facing down the Snorlax that had landed with a heavy thump that kicked up a whirl of dust.

"Ninetales, use quick attack!" Ceraf bellowed, and in an instant, the fiery pokemon had dashed across the arena, ramming it's fat opponent square in the chest. But Snorlax didn't even flinch, and Ninetales merely bounced back off it's blubbery body.

"Snorlax, mega punch!" Becka yelled, her face now showing determination instead of shock. Her pokemon threw it's weight into the punch, rocking the earth slightly as it struck into the floor, Ninetales having dodged backwards, now eyeing her enemy with a calculating look.

'Putting up a fight, huh? Good.' Ceraf thought, glaring at Becka across the field, before turning to Ninetales. "Try again, Ninetales, you can do it!" The pokemon followed his orders, ramming the Snorlax again, having just as little effect as before. This time, Becka reacted before Ninetales even hit the ground.

"Body slam it now!" Snorlax leapt forward, aiming to crush the fox-like pokemon under it's immense bulk. Ninetales' feet touched the ground...

"Agility!" Ceraf shouted, and it darted forwards, flying out from under the falling Snorlax. It landed flat on it's belly, leaving it totally vulnerable to an attack by Ninetales. "Fire Blast it, right in the back!" Ninetales leapt into the air, breathing deeply and casting off little tongues of flame as a mighty ball of fire gathered in it's mouth. With a roar, it unleashed the attack, and the fat pokemon was enveloped in the incandescent blast. Snorlax didn't get back up... Ceraf smirked slightly as Becka recalled her first pokemon.

OOC: sorry about the late response...it's hard to get online of late...

Sven had went up to his room to get some rest, he had returned all his pokemon to their pokeballs with the exception of Weavile. His pokeballs lied on the side table next to his bed, he yawned loudly and rolled over on the bed; gazing out of the window which lead to the balcony. He was rather excited about the upcoming battles and couldn't wait before his next match, he was so close to becoming the world's greatest pokemon training; he was already a renown one now it was time to become the most renown. Weavile was wandering around the room, getting his bearings of the place and saw a nice empty shelf which he jumped up on and curled up to go to sleep. Sven wasn't really tired but he was sure that his pokemon were, Mandibuzz especially seenis she had to get him here all the way from Lavender town which was where he was last before coming here. He smiled faintly and gazed up at the ceiling, drifting off into space as he heard to cheers of the people from the stadium. He turned on the TV and watched the live battle, it was the boy who passed him earlier; it seemed his Dragonite didn't take too kindly to Hydreigon at first but he suspected it must be Hydreigon's doing as she is quite intimidating to other dragon types at times.

(Sorry if this sucks I couldn't think of too much to write.)

She was calved and upraised in Lilycove Metropolis of the Hoeing Location. E'er since she was a minuscule lover she was e'er worshiped watching Pokemon battles(especially the Ever Grande Conference). When she upset 10 life old she obtained her prototypical Pokemon, Pooch. When she upset 17 she registered on a Pokemon Institution graduating the next assemblage. She definite to length through diferent regions to ride with trust on seemly a Gym Slicker in the incoming.Ceraf has had a complicated period to say the lowest, payment most of it without his care and hating his ancestor's guts, but things started to commute for him two years ago when he joined the Pokemon academy. He enjoyed the half a twelvemonth he spent there, despite his father pursuing him there to try and work compensation, and became closemouthed.
