It has a nice, simplistic style. It's too bright, and the focal doesn't stand tooooooo much out. The lighting doesn't really seem like it belongs and it's difficult to exactly grasp the clipping mask of Rukia(?) on the right.

I'm joking. Holy shit you've grown in GFX. Like, seriously. I remember when your works were barely more than a cut slapped on a BG with some messy brushes slung across.
You've progressed sooo far, and I've got to say I'm not disappointed in the least. The background works well with the render and the C4Ds(?) are amazing.

There are, of course, a few things I see. First, it's far too contrasted. Blindingly so. I think a brightness/Contrast layer set to about -10/-30 would soften the colors and darken it a bit. A black/white gradiant map set to darken and reduced in opacity could also make the same effect, and they could probably be used together to great effect. Second; the typography seems too far from the focal. It might just be me, but I would have nudged it over to the right side a bit more, just above her right... err... boob.

A nit-pick, you probably could have passed with a 4 sided border, having the bottom and top thicker than the sides (When I do it like this, I normally use 6 pixels for the wide-screen effect and 1-2 pixels on the sides to give it a nice frame to set it apart from it's setting).

I like the soft colors that you have used in this one and it really is rather life like. Something bothers me with that purple that is so bright, I really can't put my finger upon it right now. Maybe if it was softer purple, but other then that I really like it.

Yours seems like a very dark one, but I really like the colors and how it blends in so well. You can tell there is something bigger in the background controlling what seems like a puppet. It almost seems like it's going to jump out of the picture actually. I think when you can make it look like it's alive it makes things just look better.

I really really like both of these so they are really really hard to choose from and I wish we could choose them both, but I know that you can not. I'll pick Zens this time around even if I like Taddy's as well.

TATTY: i really like the colours you choose, they are really soft asuit the character. i also do like the composition, everything is in the rigth place, the background is really appealing, and typhography looks really good, also the focus looks good.Only thing is that it's a bit too cold, it does not have much flow. anyway great!

ZEN: i totally love the dark scheme and the composition, is really interesting. good use of solid C4D, i really like how lights faded in the background and i love the fact that the BG itself is mre clear than the render and all the other stuff.
i really like the choice of stock, really charming, typography is simple and nice, really cannot find anthing out of place from my point of view!

This is a beautiful piece! It's a very ascetically pleasing has a great focal point and the colors are wonderful! I do think that the text should be a different color, since the background is of a light color the text kind of blends in a little. I also think that the border on the upper and bottom half of the text should be a darker color, for the same reasons as the text. Other than that, it's a very nice piece and very easy on the eye.

I gotta admit it, Zen, but this isn't my favorite piece of yours. I think it's a tad bit too dark on the right side, which makes it seem a little off balance. Also, the text is a little start and is kind hard to read. I can tell that the render has something on her back, but since the background behind her is so dark it's hard to tell exactly what it is.
