I prefer this version! I think it's mainly because the colours look more vibrant as the image already looks like it should have some kind of natural sunlight gleaming on it and those are the colours that would be naturally brought out.

Very good depth and colors. There's something... off, about it though. Some of the cubism edges are very jagged, and the flow is kind of all over the place. I think it needs more, because I've seen incredible things from you lately, and this piece looks like a WIP in comparison.

Its odd that you couldnt find a text that would work well with that, to me it looks like it is MISSING the text. I think that if you added the text and then maybe a few more layers to add to the depth it would be really awesome ^_^

I'm thinking it was the placement of the stock; it's harder to get text to work with something that's centered as opposed to something that's more toward one side. I'll be sure to add some when I get the chance to edit

I do really like this piece, is not clear, i mean, i can't understand where her/his hands end and hair starts, or if she has wings instead of hands or it is just an hat and my immagination is going wild? (ok i decide is a she). Any how proportions are really good and pose is charming, i also like the colour palette and the way you used the brushes, it's a really nice effect.
Moreover i didn't know you were good at drawing, so i'm pretty surprised!

I like how the bangs are done. At first, I thought he/she was covering his face with his long, spindly fingers.
