The new Ciel one is very pretty, but it looks empty compared to some of your other sigs that are in that same style. =/ I think you should play around with brushwork and clipping masks in cases like that. Love the text, though.
Processing....

Love the text, though. Thanks, and I thought so too. I've already clip masked it a bit, although a bit more couldn't hurt, and I'll have to see what I can do with brushes. Btw, good to see you back ______________________________________ EDIT: This any better? Some minor tweaks, as I was having issues getting some other stuff to look right...
That's a ton better already. The sparkly thingies by his head really helped a lot. I still can't help but feel like it needs more, though. =\
Thanx Rishii Yeah the sparkles look good , but they would look better if they were near his face on the right and spread out around the canvas with different blur radii for depth. Here are some of my examples of smudging. This one maybe a bit difficult and advance , but it has all the basics of what a smudge sig needs : The ones below are all smudge styles when I was learning it , so I think theyll be helpful :
Gah, I was doing so well with responding and stuff on time and whatnot... Anyways, I think I'm gonna leave the Ciel piece alone for now. Personally, I like where it is, but I still may go back to alter it a tad later on. Also, new piece. Really iffy on it, though. Original stock: http://gallery.minitokyo.net/view/323010
Pretty nice. Only the stock has its edges oversharpened and the quality of the stock look low compared to the effects. So you may wanna blur the duplicated of the stock and put it on lighten or soft light with lower opacity. Use a plain white text for this one. Lastly , the blurred border corners dont looks so good. Always keep the borders simple.
As such?
This is ace!
LOSER IS NOT AN EMOTION
That sig looks much better with the new text, Ririshii. I really like it, but I think you could have done more with the colors. The stock is very fiery, but then the background is mostly tans and neutrals.

If soft light isnt givving you better results , try lighten mode.

While I agree that more of a fiery color scheme would look good, I've never been a huge fan of an abundance of warm colors. Oh God, I am such a sucker for warm colors... to a fault, ha ha. The new one blends a lot better. The background kinda looks like he's standing on the surface of a moon. =]
