      Yay for a fresh start.

I don't know how I missed this one, but I think it's stunning:

I love how you kept it so clean and simple and beautiful. Going without text was the perfect choice. I'm truly envious of how lovely this is.

Literally the most accurate post ever made about GFA.

I think it was the very last post on one of the pages. Thanks

Out of your new stuff, the first one is still my favourite, with your current being a very close second. Out of your old stuff, the Yosuke one, without a doubt.

I love these two pieces, I'd love to know how you did the backgrounds on both and what if any blending techniques you use on your renders/stocks.

Heh, pretty much the same here.

Thanks And both pieces were created using the techniques I described in my tutorial. Pretty much everything in the recent section was created in that manner.

Did you render the stock? Or just work over it? Because that sig looks amazing from that stock.
I love your style, especially your backgrounds. They have a lot of depth, but not in an overwhelming way.

I just worked with the whole image that I linked to. Working with the whole thing allows me to use colors from the stock so that the portion I decide to use blends in more. I actually can't render to save my life, so working around it works pretty well.

      Thanks.

Rendering is one of those things you're either extremely good at, kind of good at, or terrible at. I'm kind of good at it, if I render something for myself It comes out pretty well most of the time. I think I'll try making a signature with your tutorial, would you like to see the results if I do?

      Very true, very true.

And most definitely, I'd love to see what people can do with my tutorial

I was going to ask you, what version/program are you using?

Uhh... whatever the newest version of GIMP is. 2.6.7, I think. Anything that's compatible with the GMIC plug-in should be good.

Ah kk, lemme see how adaptable your techniques are to photoshop and I'll post the results, if I get something worthwhile
If not I may re-download GIMP just to try this.
