Yeah I started to create GFXs using the GIMP program as well. I'm new at this, but I'll learn more techniques later on. Also, I'll try to download more brushes and backgrounds, etc. to do more stuff. All advices and critiques(as long it's not too cruel) are welcome.

That one is lovely as well, and I wanna say I've seen that girl before, but I can't put my finger on it.
The only tiny little thing, that I think could be different, in the color of the font, it's a little hard to read.

I finished another one, but I can't stop getting this feeling that it's missing something. Like it needs a little more. What do you guys think?

It feels somewhat heavy on the right side- maybe add something more to the left side, such as text? Adding another color to the background may also help a bit, as it seems sorta bright in comparison with the the people on the right side.

What I would recommend you to begin with is just one plain single character stock on which you should use brushwork , rather than complicating your work with 2 or more stocks. Using two stocks always leaves less space for the main stock to be highlighted with and also cause the other stock to lose its effect.

I agree, it does look a little off balance. Perhaps if you'd added some text in the lower left corner it would little a little more symmetrical. I have the same problem myself. XD I would also take any advice form Gogi, he's a super pro at graphics.
