I think it's the al version I'm using that made the cake signature look really... bright. In any case, I put it in a different window thing and now that my eyes don't hurt - I'm not sure if the words under the word 'cake' are difficult to see because my vision sucks or something else - i love the border for some reason. It matches the text a lot and save the picture from being 'stuff in a sea of whiteness'

yeah after I got my computer up and running again I could see that some of the background was very flat looking or or less

I like your color choices for both, and the vector brushes are a nice touch. Great text, too. I love that you incorporated the red! I wish it had some lighting, though. It's a touch on the flat side without it.
I played with the darn lighting for ever and couldn't make it look nice...think if sometime I sent you the psd zen you might could give me a few good pointers?
