@dathie OHH YES i have seen that xDDD it made me laugh so much because it was true
oh noo D: i know the struggle, mine fell off at least 5 times but mine could only be safety-pinned on xD
whats at LAGC?
ie. at MCM, theres dealers (subject to matter, they are all things fiction), artist alley, manga table, wacom, games, pop up events (ie. last time I went the star trek portal was there), celebs....
I think I noted at least about a 1/3 of the points were doted to all things Kanato
He's probebly my fave if for no other reason other than being a complete nut for brains. like the other try to stay sane, he lost it wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy too long ago, and completely lost it in season too after le bear was burnnneddd
my other problem is wigs, head wear is a pain but it hurts when you take the wig off!
@dathie well it roughly has the same things as MCM like you have said, but it's more a of friendly and socialising convention, there's no issue with security for one, when you bring along cosplay prop weapons. Plus i feel more people take part in the gaming tournaments and cosplay masquerade for fun regardless if they are good or not.
@dathie i agree xD OH MAN season 2 was a lot worse than the first one, it was probably 90% yui fainting xDDD gosh he was crazy and sassy at the same time, especially in the games hahaha
YEEAAAH omg i have really long hair so when i take a wig off it hurts from the ponytail and is a complete mess xD
@Chaosymphonia sonic 2 is amazing also haikyuu <3 i like DN Angel for nostalgia too haha
I'm late guessing I have a different timezone to the site since it's only 21:04 here.. Anyways.
2. Music-wise, I mainly listen to anime intro themes and video game soundtracks, but if people ask what I listen to I generally stay vague
3. What was the last anime/gaming-themed music performance you went to, if any? (Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions for me - it was amazing!)
@Chlobo - I preferred Hyper Japan of the ones I went to so far. It wasn't so big that I felt overwhelmed by everything like say MCM London.
@dathie - I've not done any cosplay, but I'd love to try Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia or Luke from Tales of the Abyss one day.
@Emperor Philip - I don't really know for sure... Not really thought about it much but maybe... Envy from FMA.
@Alekola - Games: Sonic 2, Tales of the Abyss, C&C3, Deus Ex, Smash Bros Brawl. Anime: Fullmetal Alchemist, Code Geass, Haikyuu!!, Gurren Lagann, and I guess DN Angel (only for nostalgia reasons, it got me into anime)
Phew. Hope I caught up a bit!
@Alekola - Haha, dunno what it is about DN Angel that draws ppl in. I know a couple of others that started with it too.
How do you guys/girls create/sort out your costumes? Do you make them yourselves or hire them? I've seen some amazing costumes and it always baffles me how they got them!
@Chaosymphonia mermaid melody was my first anime (aside from beyblade xD) but I think because DN Angel had a mix of genres? Now my favourite thing about it is the opening song
I personally buy mine because I can't sew to save my life xD but my friends sew theirs I want to try making some one day
Do people just talk to eachother then? at MCM people would usually just ask for pictures!
teehee 4 extra guys, and 4 episodes less of the plot....oh wait that means theres no plot! season 1 rushed their plot in the last like 4 episodes
I really didnt like Azusas voice, it didnt sound right!
Ah I have pixie cut hair, but it looks so flat post-wig!
helllo!!! no time zone difference! its 21.30pm here.
I havent been to any sort of concert recently, I'm not a fan, more because its tight packed and wears me down with no escape XD
@Chaosymphonia - A lot of people do make their own, but for people who aren't really that good, there are costume websites, that can make good quality costumes for people to buy, to cosplay as, depending on which sites and such.
@dathie - Yes a lot of people do get to talk more to each other here then you would at MCM, you will still get asked for pictures (if cosplaying), plus with it being a small con, you will bump into the same person no times then MCM.
@Emperor Phillip ahh ok so I presume thats more at stalls (ie. manga tables, small sessions, gaming areas?)
@dathie - yes they do have them as well.
@dathie too trueee xD i think the reason i kept watching it every week was to see if anything would actually happen D: yeah his voice was a bit high sounging, it's annoying in the game too because he talks to slowly xDD
ooh pixie hair is cute also it must be a lot easier to put a wig straight on it, it takes me so long to put my hair up without it falling out of the cap xDD
@Emperor Phillip is it very busy there usually?
@Alekola - Just reminding myself of it now. I get totally hooked by catchy themes and end up binging on them >.< any other recommendations for good intros? I'll be here all day if I list all mine but off the top of my head, tokyo ghoul's intro and one of the bleach intros (starts with Kon and Co dancing?)
@dathie - that's fair enough, I'm not a fan of crowds either really. You can listen to the soundtracks on youtube most of the time, but the experience of the orchestra really does make a huge difference. I get mesmerised!
@Emperor_Philip - I'll start off by buying then when I do cosplay! Do you take part in any of the gaming tournaments at all?
