    Animeleague Meetups Team Needs YOU!

We're planning a major expansion of anime and cosplay meetups and picnics across the UK for this year, and to achieve this we need YOUR help! Simply put, we're looking for region leaders to join our staff as mods and community managers for your local region!

If you are interested you can apply by filling in this form and PMing Ferefire over the boards. Please note this is the first time we have taken mod applications in this manner (usually we pick and approach, but this time we want to achieve something really big so we feel this is necessary!), so please don't be offended if we reject!

We're looking for organisers in all regions of the UK, as many of our senior staff who are currently handling the meets focus moreso on running the events and cons side! (Note that being a meet mod does not require you to be on crew)

    Why Do Meetups for AL?

    1. We promote it with you and help ensure the meet you run gets the people!
    2. We have a budget to put toward meets. Want to run a picnic with free food? Sorted!
    3. We will provide you with full references as having worked as a community manager for your local area!
    4. We will cover your travel expenses (up to a reasonable amount) for each meet you do.

    Expectations -

    1. Making a Meetup in your area and promoting it via a forum topic and social networks
    2. Being actively involved in the forums and getting others to be (7 posts a week on average, not just spam)
    3. Research local anime and cosplay groups and companies in your area.
    4. Networking and representing AL in your local area to other groups and getting them involved

Here's the form to PM -

Where Do you Live: (Scotland, North-East, North-West, Midlands, Wales, London, South-East, South-West, Ireland, OTHER)
Which areas can you do meets in:
How often can you do meets:
What kind of events would you like to run: (picnics, meets, any other original ideas?)
Are you active on the forums: (Or if not can you get active and make least 7 posts a week on average which are not solely spam?)
Are you networked in with the anime community in your area:
We will officially pick one mod and at least one deputy (who will be an assistant and work with the mod) for each region.
