Just been clearing out my email box and completely forgot I'd signed up here. Thought I'd get myself in the forums and get browsing and such, posted a quick reply into the Check-In section already.

For those who want a less formal approach, my name is Kevin, I'm 24 and live in the East Midlands, England. I'm currently unemployed due to my recent (mostly now resolved) health issues, but I was working as an engineer for Rolls-Royce before that, on the control systems side for the engines.

I'm a fan of anime but have only watched a few dozen shows, always looking for suggestions from people. I love technology in general, and am a massive gamer and 'geek'. I own a PS3, 360 and PC so I'm not a fanboy as such.

I love music, mostly rock but I have everything from 50s/60s music up until today's dubstep on my computer! :) I watch too many movies as well, not unlike most people I guess? I love almost everything in every category of cinema.

First of all I'd like to confess, I'm a complete anime scrub! I personally prefer reading and gaming but if something comes highly recomended, I will always try and check it out.

I joined (a little while ago) because me and a friend are off to ALcon this year and thought it'd be a good idea to get to know some people. We're complete con virgins. Why ALcon? Well, it came highly recomended (please see previous statement)

I've usually got my head buried in a book, or more acurately smooshed up against a Kindle (other e-readers are available). I also recently got in to PC gaming, spent hard earned money on a load of games and only ever seem to play TF2. Which for any that don't know, is completely free!

I like a drink down the pub. Not a massive fan of keeping fit and alot of the time the most exercise I get is lifting a pint to my mouth. Which if you think about it, kind of resembles a bicep curl :)

I am very much addicted to collecting dolls, mostly Asian fashion dolls and BJDs. I spend my time "dolling", crafting, spending money on "idontneeditbutitscute" and playing badminton (and I fail at it). I love gaming but I banned myself from MMORPGs, too much of a time killer, had to be done. I'll survive, yes... maybe... perhaps? :ohno:
I also enjoy some anime every now and then, Rozen Maiden is my favourite (more dolls, surprise surprise...), Shiki comes right after.
