on life yo. I kid though. So I have a few people who read my blog for the informative tutorials (all two of them thus far), and there are many more still who do not read my blog. Its not that important, but its something to think about. I decided when I first did my blog that I was going to use it to help people of varying skill to become pixel wizards. I did an abstract tutorial on how to create a simple abstract background quickly, and released a tutorial on how to keep your layers tidy when manipulating pixels for art. My next highly sought after tutorial will be one on typography in images, but that one is not today.

Today is Lith day, and today I thought I'd explain to you some of the current projects I'm working on. This is a bit of a shameless self-promotion in my own blog but its fun none the less. Ok lets get started shall we?

1. Coming up with a better name for Studio byte. I'm thinking Pixel Wizards. Really its just me so it doesn't matter, but it sounds cooler if I label my work as such lol. If you have a suggestion, drop me a comment!

2. No name game. This is a short game I'm making based on characters of my own design. It's going to be a short demo, involving a young man named Alex Kingstead, who finally gains knighthood, but must pass a scathing trial before he is officially knighted. It wont be too terribly long, maybe 10 - 15m tops. Mostly its to showcase a character I made for other media purposes (If I could draw worth shit I'd draw him lol).

3. St. Patrick's day wallpaper. Enough said. Making a StPD wallpaper. Going to look awesome so stay tuned for that.

4. Tutorials. I plan on having the Typography tutorial done by next week or so. I am also working on an animation tutorial in photoshop but that is a ways away. Finally the big tutorial I am planning is a beginners guide to photoshop. I hope this last one helps people who maybe want to get into photoshop and would like to know what the various tools do and what some of the best situations for each are.


Those are the big things I'm working on. Oh, and I'm fine by the way. Thanks for asking. I know you all came in here cause you saw the word tutorial. I know how you are. don't even care if I'm doing well or anything.
