Roleplayer's Realm..
Submitted by BrokenAngelKairu.

Roleplayer’s Realm has been around since Anime League began. At first, what started out as a small sub forum, has erupted into a fully functional forum in its own right. With numerous players and characters joining almost daily, activity within RR, as it is called, has increased dramatically since it first began.

The main section to RR revolves around a system called The Multiverse, a multi dimensional realm where characters interact with others through different means such as traditional Role Playing, or through a secondary means called Sparring. Each has its own way of allowing the players and their characters to interact with others and the environment around them, from joint efforts in working together to achieve a common goal, or to using strategy and tactics to take down a god in combat.

As far as the latter issue is concerned, RR uses a level system that is based on a players writing ability. Leveled currently One through Ten, each level allows a player to do more things in character than the last. While still a bit buggy in a few places, the system itself is a good foundation. Currently in the works is a revamping of the Level system to make it more adaptable, as well as harder for players to achieve the highest ranks.

Every system has it troubles and bugs at first, yet eventually they all get worked out to make the system what it has been envisioned as. Many people have made small complaints about the system in which a character progresses, called Assessments. Assessments are done by submitting a piece of your work, whether from another thread, forum, or your own works, and having it evaluated by several different people for a judgment of level based upon how well the piece, or pieces are written.

However, as stated, there have been a few complaints about the system. Some have a certain ground, while others are more tenuous. The biggest problem that seems to face the players is that there aren’t enough people to do the assessments for all the players that post for them. There are several stated reasons for this, from the assessors not having the time to read over each and every post that passes through, to assessors leaving due to other reasons. In the end though, it is hopeful that the changes being made to the system itself will also help to remedy these problems and allow for more things to be done as a whole in the RR forums.

In closing, with more and more people joining every day in the activities of Roleplayer’s Realm, it is slowly growing to be the most collection of creative and, often times, amusing, minds on the net so far. I for one look forward to seeing just how far it goes, till the end.
